There was a video shared of a Gallardo Squadra Corse & a MP4-12C left out in the storm as well.

Drove by a few of the places and saw a few empty lots & cars with sheets over the windows including a row of Mustangs at a Ford dealership. Chevy dealer here had a white C7 Stingray out facing the intersection that had a sheet over its back window. Looks like the storm caught the worst possible place with all the dealerships on the same stretch of road.
Based on what you've described, it sounds like they could be closed for a bit, but their business interruption coverage should allow for paying some of the key employees. I've done a number of these calculations for various carriers and that's frequently been what we've done. In fact, if you know anything about the Sewell Cadillac fiasco from Hurricane Katrina, I did the loss calculation in that case (when the police took their inventory and gave it away for evacuations).

Ouch.. I've been through having my car fucked up with hail... and we've had two storms the past month in this area produce at least baseball size hail.

I check the weather often and if it says chance of hail, I stay home and keep my car garaged.. not taking any risks. I'll cancel plans even. Not worth it.

So what does the dealership now do with the cars? Could you buy one at a good discount?

Screw that. Not worth even buying the most reliable and affordable new model out there once it gets flood damaged. My cousin didn't know, and bought a salvaged ML320 during the peak of their DaimlerChrysler shittiness. Sold it within two months, would've been sooner if more were willing to take it off his hands.

Nevermind how much the electronics are to repair/replace on a Lamborghini/McLaren...

Depending on how much money you get off the car, (which would still be mechanically perfect) you could bring the car to a shop and have them fix the dents and get a new paint/wrap job for considerably less than buying it new

Depends on the damage. Those cars with broken windows are totaled; the insurance company doesn't want to deal with them due to hidden electronics and rain water getting inside the vehicles. The cars that look like a golf ball are likely to be totaled as well. We had a LS last year that ended up running $14-16,000 in damages because the trunk/hood had to be replaced and the roof was completely fucked. Even after everything as done, the car still had dents in it that we had to finish getting out.

My buddy said he stopped by the Subaru store today to see what got hit and their sales side was closed until further notice. And the Ford dealer threw all their cars they could sell in the middle of the lot in "As Is" condition. Mixed bag of mostly black vehicles where the damage is pretty noticeable.

Whoa, I remember the 2016 or 2017 Ram Rebel being basically a hardparker's version of a Raptor. But then again most Raptors are hardparked anyway

But then this 2018 Rebel lookswise is like the 2018 Civic Type-R. Gaudy and likely only to get admiration mainly from prepubescent boys.

Interestingly.. the Rebel comes with 4 corner air ride.. so it does go low for highway cruising.
Also, there's no way anyone would take even a lowered raptor or rebel for an OG lightning.. but hot damn..
A reggo cab small body pickup on a hellcat platform.. shiet.
Might as well make the body a coffin.

2013 rdx

Recently bought this used RDX for my daughter. She recently graduated from college. It came with some cheap Chinese tires. I would not put them on my lawnmower! What do you recommend for this front wheel drive (base) model. I generally like Michelins for the money and quality. im curious what you Acura enthusiast like.
