We Chinese drivers especially Chinese women drivers can't drive because we drive super slow, blocking traffic, cause dangerous situation for OTHER drivers and cant park.
But one thing we don't do is Speeding... always drive 15mph below speed limit and it does not matter which lane we are in.
i think you have the "Chinese drivers can't drive" all wrong.

Is the ILX really that bad?
I had 2016 ILX loaner for three days. What a piece of sh*t acura has managed to put together. it was unresponsive, loud, lacked any sex appeal. basically a glorified civic. i think toyota corolla is more responsive. if i had paid 30K for that crap, i would have killed myself.
ilx has no bussiness being in acura family, honda yes, acura hell no,

Get a V2.. I'm serious. You can be at the same power levels for very little effort (+150 whp with pulley, plugs, intake, and tune on 93), plus it has great handles. Get a 2010-12 and spend half the dough.
Closest comparison I can find below. The pleasure of driving a vehicle is subjective, but notice how the ZL1 wins in everything else other than the straight line. TBH, I know why he thinks the V is slow.. the V is super quiet. You could be going 150 and feel numb in certain senses that should tell you you're going way too fucking fast.
It's composed and fun and most of the time feels like it's on rails. I have gone sideways several times already though. Sometimes out of fucking nowhere, but it pulls back into compliance with little effort. I giggle when it breaks traction and kicks the tail out in 3rd.
Definitely black tie axe murderer. Hellcat is a fucking rampage. You don't even want to make eye contact with it sometimes.

Two years ago I came across a CTS-V wagon in manual with the recaro seats. About 9k miles on it. Dealer wanted a touch under 50k. The ONLY reason I didn't pick it up was because of neuronbob's thread and the gas mileage figures. At the time I was driving nearly 30,000 miles a year and it would have been difficult for me to justify the massive increase in gas. I burn enough in the s6 and figured the V would drink more.
Now I'm kicking myself for not jumping on it. I'm commuting much less.
I go back and forth on what I want to do. I'm not quite ready to give up driving a manual, which is why the V is appealing. I like 4 doors so that gets rid of the Challenger Hellcat. Although I also stare at my supra project and realize if I get motivated enough I can make it fast for a fraction of what I would otherwise shell out...
Damn.. that was a hell of a deal. I definitely agree.. get it in Manual and in Vagon form. Although the sedan and coupe look good and have plenty of space.. the Vagon is a head turner and has no compromises. The auto has some funky shift logic, I still haven't figured her out yet. No guessing with a Manny.
I took her out for some fun a few weekends ago. Tore it up a bit, not delinquent hooning, but the tires and brakes were warmed up to say the least. In about 10 miles I burned through a quarter tank of gas.. maybe 3-4 mpg.
The avg fuel consumption that week went from 15 mpg (unsure of miles logged at that point), to 12.5 mpg. She's back up again. If you drive like a law abiding citizen concerned about fuel efficiency, you could probably average 16-17 mpg.

Based on what i am told by friends who sell Acura for a living,
ILX is not selling especially for a NEW model and Acura went backwards with their backup camera.
It might not sound like a big deal but Honda/Acura's resolution is not that great to start with... and the new ILX somehow got even worse, NOT better.
Let's put it this way, I have a few friends who work for Acura. One of them was offered to lease the new ILX for pretty much free. (Employee monthly allowance)
He turned down the offer and leased a 15' WRX instead.
You know it is bad when your own employee turn down a free car from you.

I got lucky with the supra. Friend of mine from college bought it when she was in high school. I worked on it for her throughout school and after. She moved out of the country and I got a pretty good deal on it. It was driven weekly until about 4 years ago - I had plans that never really took off...soon though. Really fun car although everyone thinks you are fast and furious and wants to race.
S6 was somewhat inadvertent. It was originally my dad's car. He is no longer driving so I picked it up. It isn't driven much but it's an awesome car that is, at least so far (since 2008) problem free.

Their back up camera got worse ??!!
Compared to Lexus Acura nav and backup is 20 years behind
How can they get worse ???!
It's already so grainy
My atari games had better resolution than my tsx nav and camera
Have you guys heard of this Android app called Carista?
It's kinda like a VAGCOM but free download on your phones. Pretty cool!

Speaking of Supras. Half of me thinks it's ridiculously overpriced. And yet the other half completely understands how mint & untouched it is.

Sold for $90,000 with only 15,500 on the odo. This thing will appreciate if it stays untouched in another 5 years.

seen that earlier today - although I didn't know it was sold
that is the exact same specs as my old car (that I shouldn't have sold in 2004), first time hearing about another one
(although mine had a few more miles on it
)

Project Supra has started. I'm not ready to start a thread yet - mainly because it won't be updated often the first month or so, but everything is at least in motion at this point.

The ILX is a POS
