Cheaper G37 with no power. Supposed to go against BMW's 328.

218hp 2.5L VQ 6-cyl. Apparently, no one wants a heavy, underpowered G.

I bet when they redesign the G next year, they'll bring back the g20 or g25 with a turbo engine, g37 and g37h

So hard to find a used M3 sedan, let alone one that hasn't been heavily abused...

The revised S4/S5 looks great. Very aggressive.

would it not be worth it to maybe wait a little and put in an extra 10k for a new M3? Or is that too far over budget?

if not i say go with audi s4/s5

After a 30minute drive to riverside, with the AC blasting, turn the car off. Fan turns on to cool off the engine, and I open the door and I see this. I took the pic later so there was some more. Just wondering which fluid it might be? I wanna guess coolant? Cause it wasnt water for sure. I felt it and it seemed a ltl viscous.

What is that exposed pipe? My guess is the plastic got scraped until there was a hole and it also damaged the pipe.

there is a crack there but i dont think that is exposed pipe, i think that was just the liquid. As you see in the other picture it has foam on it

My dad told me to check the radiator fluid so i'll probably do that. Although i dunno if there is a measuring stick for that since i've never checked it before, we'll see.

Okay but it is surprising to see the plastic skid cover damaged and not that pipe behind it

the exhaust pipe? I checked my power steering levels earlier and it isnt that, which has a pipe that goes near the drivers side wheel as well.(that is also leaking, very slowly though, i refill like every six months or so lol)

I'd look at an 05-07 Porsche. You can find them with low-ish miles for that money.

Just an example.

savage, out of your list, I would probably look at the S4 or C63.
Can't go wrong with the CTS-V sedan either.

I want to go check out the 2013 S4 in a few weeks when things with work and school die down a bit. Apparently dealerships have just started receiving them in. The real life pics look more aggressive than the ones Audi published.

911's are one of the very few cars these days that hold their value very well.

Perhaps so but I found a 2009 Certified Carrera S for $70k with 10k miles on it in DC. That seems like what I would expect to pay and would definitely get that over a $70k CTS-V/M3/C63 sedan.

Yea, as much as I'd love to get a 911, I need a sedan right now. Maybe in a couple more years I'll have enough disposable income to pick up a 911...

You seemed surprised at the $66k for a 41k miles 911. The point was, those cars do hold their value well. I would guess you could try to negotiate that price down a bit, based on the mileage.

That was sort of rhetorical and not pointed at you. Just that we're debating the merits of the price of a car he doesn't want

the upgrade is minor though, in terms of performance. Top speed has gone up by only 2 mph, and 1/4 is 0.1 sec quicker, they don't say the difference in speed. Looking quickly I am seeing 135 mph for the first version, which would make sense. 16 hp is not going to give you much more on trap speed.

What do you guys find to be the best place to search for used cars online?

I've been using cars.com lately... Any others you find to be more extensive?

Cars, AutoTrader, even eBay if theyre local. If you have your sights set on a specific car, check out the appropriate forums.

And I guess it doesnt hurt to look on Craigslist.

Craigslist - but it is kind of a pain in the ass because everyone thinks their shit is worth way more than it should be

Autotrader seems to work pretty well
