Oooh. Sorry to hear about the issues (though I'm of the same school of thought, I don't care about the issues my car has had since it's a lease...their car, their problem). I just got done driving a 2012 Saab 9-5 as a loaner for a week while my car was in for service. Interesting loaner for a Ford dealer.
Is there more sound dampening/better interior quality or is it just because the 435 is brand new? I thought they were the same exact car, minus door count.

They are the "same" car but as any car, they make improvements with every model year in areas we might or might not notice.
But the improvements are definitely there. Interior materials are the same but I would think they have addressed most of the common issues from prior model year, such as wind noise and steering feel.

So 2015> 2013
Fair enough. Evidently, it would be helpful if they incrementally improve the mechanicals under the hood too.

Around here you only get 2015 or 2016 loaners
Most dealers around here you have to twist their arm to even get a loaner. I kind of was intrigued by the 9-5. It was one of the last Saabs made before going under. Cool styling, awful interior and driving dynamics, but the car definitely had character. Bummer the brand couldn't survive.
Wonder how many people are leasing hellcats, beating the heck out of them, and then turn in the key at end of lease
Or are people buying them an squirreling them away for Barret Jackson in 25 years
I would bet leases on the Hellcat are minimal to non-existant.
I have seen a couple Hellcat Challengers on the road. Some will be driven, many will be garage queens.
There is a Hellcat Charger for sale about 90 minutes from me...they claim its only one of two in all of CA...they are marking it up $30k
Completely ridiculous. Dodge told dealers not to mark up...their allocation will be based on it. If that car sits and doesn't sell...they wont get more allocation. And I realllllllly hope it sits and collects dust. But someone dumbass somewhere with more money than brains will most likely by it.
in case you're wondering he got it because he had been calling around looking for dealers who might have one, and no dealer knew if they were getting any, let alone how many. So he found this one dealer that said they will never markup a vehicle, and he gave them his CC# in the interest of being ready to put money down. There was another buyer in front of him but he had not put any money into it. When they received word they were receiving one car, they called my friend and said since he had supplied credit card, they were moving him to #1 spot and ready to accept his deposit. He did so, and then they asked him what color and options he wanted, and the rest is history.
The dealership I bought the V from had a Challenger Hellcat as well as a '15 Viper GTS, no markup. They were both securely placed in the showroom. By the time I closed on the V a little over a week, both were gone.
no doubt. so it's around 780 hp off the showroom floor.
oh yeah, doing this on Friday:
not sure what kind of setup it is going to be, parking lot, cones, etc. etc. will have to see. taking pictures too (obviously) so stay tuned.
Nice I used to go to the Mercedes ones back in the day. I'm going to a BMW event where you can drive a 428 or 328d apparently spirited with a pro in the car. Anyone go to this one? Srika, how'd you get the AM one? Was that strictly invite or can I register if it's coming here?
