General Car Talk Discussion Thread
Those wheels though ... Other neighbor has a '09 S550 with 22" Vossens on it and he's broken three sets of wheels. I wouldn't personally own them but if I did think about wheels over 20" I would only own them in a part of the country where roads don't freeze and thaw. Like SoCal, parts of Texas, and Miami.
Has anyone noticed a lot of 2013+ Ford Fusions driving around with just their DRL's at night? I know a lot of people make this mistake, but lately I can't help to notice a lot of the Fusion drivers doing this. Is there something on the car that would make this happen or am I just noticing one big coincidence? Half seem to have just DRL and the other half seem to at least have the parking lights.

Took an alternative route home the other day to run an errand and my path took me through one of our more affluent areas. In about a three mile stretch I encountered the following on the road -
- Brand new M4 (Sakhir Orange)
- Ferrari F430
- Tesla Model S
- Audi R8
- Jaguar F-Type
I need more money.

05 Accord and since the dash lights up I might forget to turn on the lights less than 1% of the time
One observation relating to this, though - I notice a pretty good amount of 3G TLs drive around with their high beams on. Do the drivers not notice the high beam icon in the dash? Or that they are blinding everyone in front of them? I see it happen enough to notice a pattern.
Another observation - why do Mini Cooper taillights sometimes look pinkish?
I don't know why, but it seems to be getting worse. I've seen cars on the road at night with absolutely no lights on at all. I guess people are too busy checking out their cellphones to notice they can't frickin see the road in front of them at all.

That's because on the 04-06 TL the fog lights are built into the headlights. Those two bulbs on the inside aren't actually high beams, but the fog lights. The 07-08 however has the traditional fog lights on the lower bumper.

It sure does look odd.
Hey, it's true. I remember moms are usually very very neurotic about wasting electricity/enery. So, they are constantly turning off lights and also keeping the temperature set to low even if it's minus bazillion outside in the dead of winter.

Slapsticking aside, is it this book:
I have this edition in my Amazon wish list.
This is one of the nice images in the book, correct?
