Is there something on the car that would make this happen or am I just noticing one big coincidence? Half seem to have just DRL and the other half seem to at least have the parking lights.
Around here, it's more than just Fusions, lots of cars in general with just DRLs or no headlights at all. I guess "hmm, I can't see shit" doesn't register with turn on the headlights...

Took an alternative route home the other day to run an errand and my path took me through one of our more affluent areas. In about a three mile stretch I encountered the following on the road -

- Brand new M4 (Sakhir Orange)
- Ferrari F430
- Tesla Model S
- Audi R8
- Jaguar F-Type

I need more money.

Funny you should ask, but I didn't encounter even one. Those folks living near the Phoenician must not be making enough money to justify getting an RLX. They'll have to stick with their lowly Ferraris, etc.

Fine. And tires.

Don't forget, on high-tech al-loo-mini-um rims, the car will also gain in acceleration advantage. Geez, pay attention.

05 Accord and since the dash lights up I might forget to turn on the lights less than 1% of the time

I don't know why, but it seems to be getting worse. I've seen cars on the road at night with absolutely no lights on at all. I guess people are too busy checking out their cellphones to notice they can't frickin see the road in front of them at all.

One observation relating to this, though - I notice a pretty good amount of 3G TLs drive around with their high beams on. Do the drivers not notice the high beam icon in the dash? Or that they are blinding everyone in front of them? I see it happen enough to notice a pattern.

Another observation - why do Mini Cooper taillights sometimes look pinkish?

I live in a city so I always figured it was because the roads are already pretty well illuminated. However, that doesn't mean it's not a huge danger anyway. So many cars today come with auto lights and people need to use them if they can't remember to turn them on.

That's because on the 04-06 TL the fog lights are built into the headlights. Those two bulbs on the inside aren't actually high beams, but the fog lights. The 07-08 however has the traditional fog lights on the lower bumper.

I high beam the shit out of those people who don't turn on their headlights at night. Outrageously dangerous.

My guess is they have burnt out headlights and drive with highbeams on instead of fixing it. Are the bulbs as much of a PITA to change as in an Accord?

I thought the same for the longest time, that they all had their high beams on. Until I learned that the early 3Gs had the foglights in the headlight housing.

It's not like turning on her headlights would have resulted in her driving any better.

Hey, it's true. I remember moms are usually very very neurotic about wasting electricity/enery. So, they are constantly turning off lights and also keeping the temperature set to low even if it's minus bazillion outside in the dead of winter.

I have this edition in my Amazon wish list.

This is one of the nice images in the book, correct?
