^ One of the original "crossovers".
To me the Macan looked a little smaller than the Q5. I think it's mainly because of the sloping rear.

I just hate dealers. I'm going through X-Plan but I am telling the credit union to break their association with this dealer.
The two nearest me are bigger weasels than this one. This is my last car purchase for a while. I know why people buy from Carmax. This is bullshit.

Congrats on the Mustang!

Shoof, if you hadn't been two hours away I wouldn't have even considered going to a dealer. That said, next time I'm coming to you anyway. These motherfuckers need Jesus.

Is Ford Crazy Enough To Show A Ford GT Replacement In Detroit?
So what are the odds that this hits showrooms before the new NSX?

Pretty high considering the NSX is a showroom fire hazard.

Random sidebar question, what sort of MPG are you getting in your E90 M3 on average while daily driving it (ie not like you stole it)?

$6,847 in gas at $2.91 a gallon = 2353 gallons over 40,000 miles = 17.0mpg.

Honestly, I expected worse for daily. Good thing gas prices are dropping lately.
Engineer
C&D averaged 17mpg on their E90 in a long term test from 2008-09.

Thanks. how's it been for reliability so far? How many miles you got on it? Been thinking about going back to BMW for the 4 door E90 M3 if the Focus RS doesn't pan out.
Engineer
In terms of reliability, I've hear good things from guys with high mileage ones. Just keep in mind some of the service costs are more than a regular BMW. The oil is about $15 a qt and you need 9 qts for an oil change. Brakes are about $1300-1500 in parts for OEM. Just things like that to keep in mind.
The only major concern for these cars that keeps popping up is bearing wear leading to engine failure (20-25k repair bill). Supercharging may help exacerbate it, but I think that particular issue seems to be a bit overblown. Now that said, I still plan on getting the extended warranty just so I can sleep better at night.

This thing was breaking necks so hard.
And there was a P1, 918, Venom GT, Nismo GTR, C7 Z06, Hellcat, 650S, Huracan, 991 Turbo S at the same event
There was a stock FRS nearby... and with the bodykit and quad exhausts.. this thing looked incredible

The only things that bother me about the Release Series FR-S are the price and the black part on the front lip near the fog lights/brake ducts shows a line of yellow underneath. Looks strange. It looks good, but the performance is exactly the same. They didn't even bother to upgrade the tires.

The thing bothers me with Scion is that there's no hassle price BS. More like no discount on sticker price for you. Eff that.

A neighbor of mine I'm friendly with just traded his Scion Tc with 225,000 miles for a 2015 C300 4Matic. Really nice looking car but the story behind it is pretty cool.
He'd been looking for a used 2015 on the web for a couple months in case one popped up. It did and not far from where he lives. As it turns out, the car was part of a casino giveaway of 16 C300s. One of the winners decided to take cash instead of the car.
Because the car was already titled, it became a used car when it was put up for sale. So he got a used 2015 C300 4Matic with 22 miles at a pretty good discount.
Crazy. But it looks great. I'm hoping he'll take me for a ride in it. I'll repay him with a drive in the Ecoboost Accord. Because of how curvy the car is, it looks smaller than the previous C300. But inside it's beautiful and the navigation screen attached to the dash doesn't look weird at all.

Has anyone noticed a lot of 2013+ Ford Fusions driving around with just their DRL's at night? I know a lot of people make this mistake, but lately I can't help to notice a lot of the Fusion drivers doing this. Is there something on the car that would make this happen or am I just noticing one big coincidence? Half seem to have just DRL and the other half seem to at least have the parking lights.
