General Car Talk Discussion Thread
Randy Pobst agreed. I think the 1LE is extraordinary for $42k. But I would only own one if I was going to track it on weekends and wanted a car to drive there too.
I heard the new 2016 Camaro on the Alpha platform will be by far the largest redesign to the Camaro since the current generation was introduced. I would wait for that too especially if you are considering the current gen. Camaro at all. I like the new Track Pack Mustang, but the 1LE.. I quite dig those too. Of course if it were me I'd buy a used Lotus Exige/Porsche Cayman, M235i, or BRZ and $14k in parts anyday over either.

I have no idea what it will require to maintain a 1LE but it would not surprise me to know it's cheaper than a Cayman, M235i, etc.
BTW, the 1LE would annihilate a M235i.

If this is for real, and as if it hadn't happened already, this would be definitive proof that Acura has jumped-the-shark!
Countdown to someone calling me a hater - 10...9...8...
i wonder if this is a real acura or an odyssey disguised with acura parts, as some commenters think. the interior looks straight out of an MDX but it also looks pretty hacked at the base of the windshield and dash.
Well there are tradeoffs with all those cars. Either cost of entry, cost of maintenance, cost of upgrades ...

If you can't outsell your competitors in the bread and butter segments (small-midsize), go after the niche segments! The competition will never see it coming, just like the ZDX.
Price negotiable, this is very tempting. Especially, given Tim's experience:

Mercedes has pulled an Infiniti and renamed all their SUVs to start with GL.
So there is the GLA, GLC (GLK), GLE (ML), and GLS (GL). Only the Gwagen stays as a G. The cheat makes it clear this alignment makes sense and shows where Mercedes might full in gaps with yet more models.

The MB rebranding doesn't bug me so much, I like that they dropped the CLK in favor of an E-coupe & the CL for the S-coupe.
As said in the other thread, bring back proper numbering! My S550 is actually a 4.6
Just call it an S460.
