Most likely soft, which IMO, is the only way to order an MX5.

As much as I love the twins, the MX5 Club is nice. If only I could fit comfortably

Soft top.

I'm asking them if they can find a hard top.

Alright. Wife said I can get whatever I want to get.

My final choices:

2014 BRZ Limited
MSRP: $28,727
Quoted Price: $26,112 (1.9% APR)

2013 Mazda MX5 Club Edition
MSRP: $28,155
Quoted Price: $21,148

Used 2011 M3 Convertible 6MT
Mileage: 23,255
Quoted Price: $42,873

Wish me luck. I think it'll go down over the weekend. Scheduled to see all three tomorrow. I'll be perfectly happy with either of these.

Being the last N/A M3 possibly for many many years to come, it is hard not to get the last high rev M3.

It's definitely tempting. I test drove the SMG one at Carmax last night. It's a.... BEAST.

I showed all three to my wife. She didn't even look at other two... she just said okay get the M3...

I told her she HAS to go to all three dealerships with me tomorrow before making the decision.

Red or Silver.

The dealer got back to me with Hard top version.

Soft top is $21,xxx. Hard top is $24,xxx.

MX-5 over BRZ.. too sweet of a deal.

I dunno why, and its probably because I've never driven one, but the Miata's just don't appeal to me. Well the price you got qutoed is much better, but at 27k I almost think a miata is sort of a rip off.

I dont know much about miatas never researched them other than hearing they're amazing to drive. Its just a perception i've had ever since I found out how expensive they actually are. I would have assumed they would be 22k to begin with.

If that M3 had Toyota reliability, I would get that in a heartbeat. But I did show this to Jesal to see how it is. Nothing much to worry about he said. The deal was really good on it as well. Wish it was a coupe instead of convertible.

MX-5 is a super good deal huh? crazy. it's because they are giving out $3,500 cash rebate to loyal customers.

Miata is just like FRS.

It looks like a shitty little car, but once you get to drive it. It's just so FUN to drive.

Even a ratty little 1990 Miata is a lot of fun to drive, if you can find someone who doesn't give a crap and will let you beat on it.

The best thing about Miata is the low insurance rate. It's freaking low because no kids like to drive it.

Some of them are starting to stancebro the NAs, though.

If you're willing to look at slightly used cars, would a used Cayman be in your budget? Sounds like something else to consider.

Otherwise, I vote BRZ. You've been wanting that car badly ever since it came out.

M3. DUH. Its a good deal in a great color too.

CTS-V not on the list?

With that said, a lot of my M3 buddies have BRZs as a daily and absolutely love them.

I spoke to an Elise owner and he said the Toyota powerplant is the most unreliable part of the car, oddly enough

I guess that explains why some of them are running around with K20s.

Pshh.. that Toyota engine is super reliable. Maybe not on boost, but otherwise you'd go half million miles no problem.

No kidding. The stats are insane for this beast...it's converted to AWD. And the official numbers are:

2282 HP
1737 Torque
