Once in a while when you jump between driving two cars that are stiff as shit, it's nice to drive something a little more comfy...

I love this thread...every time I come back in, I confirm that.

Yeah, I can see the comfy aspect but man...talk about no personality styling though.

I had a Prius V on set being used for a scene right before they started selling them. I really liked it for a roomy little wagon. If that had been around when I get my current prius I might have gone for that one instead.

Ouch. $800/month is quite the lease payment... Can't you lease some of its competitors (X3, GLK, XC60) for far less than that?

1) The Range Rover Evoque is stunning, especially in person. A neighbor has one in a blueish/turquoise color. Don't know that I'd be able to trust LR's reliability. Leasing would be the way to go.
2) Chevy still makes those Express vans? Christ.

Keep the updates coming, Shoof.

Even Ford killed the Econoline/E-series vans off.

GM doesn't have a Transit competitor?

Ford still makes the Econoline Cargo/Passenger Van, FYI...

Nissan is coming out with a Transit competitor, and I think Ram is too (with the help of Fiat). Don't know if GM is coming out with one yet. Cargo van's are pretty hard to get in general, because of supply and demand.

Best trade-in ever!

2002 with 208k miles. If you can overlook the body, the rest of the powertrain is solid..

I'll probably sell it faster than any other used car I have here...You'd be surprised what the demand is for these things, especially when it's CHEAP. The miles don't mean much on these vans, you can't kill this motor if you tried!

GM actually beat Ford to the punch with the HHR Panel Van...

Planning some bank robberies there?

No shag carpet or couch in the back, Im suspecting "free candy".

If anyone sees Eddie buying padlocks, duct tape, and string, alert the authorities right away.

my dad works as a delivery driver and he's had 3 of these in the last 10 years. He only replaces them because the body rots away around the engine and they look like shit. Other than that, they just GO and GO and GO. I think the most he has paid was 4000$ for one and that's the one he has now.

That actually happened to my friend. He was driving, and some guys told him to go into a parking lot on the side of the road. Then they pulled out all this audio equipment trying to pitch it to my friend. Even when he said no, the guys started loading it into my friend's Jeep. He had rigged the driver door to come off, so when all this was happening, the 'white van' guy said he would have accepted the door (sitting in the trunk) as a trade. In the end, my friend paid like 10 bucks, sold them to another friend for 50, then just got them back for free. Long story, but definitely strange.
