They do. Only thing I can think of is that it may have been difficult to build a dual clutch to the packaging they required at a price that was worthwhile. The new autos shift very fast. are smoother, and don't require the same maintenance, so I'm ok with the traditional automatic.

Bronze looks great. It almost always works with shades like white, grey, black IMO.

Time for some DEs in your area?

I'll be honest, wasn't crazy about the wheels at first.

The more I look at them though, the more I like them! Think I'm just so used to seeing people with stretched tires with itty bitty (titty) sidewalls.

As much as I champion manual transmissions, I really love the ZF 8-speed. That slushbox puts in work! I don't have a complaint about it in any car I've driven or ridden in. Fast and smooth.

Shit, the car comes with slightly stretched tires from the factory It works on some cars, but not for the way I drive. I need that sidewall to protect the rim.

And the zed eff 8 speed is a damn good trans.

You think that wheel/tire combo would fit something like an S5 Sportback?

I used to have a diffuser on the FR-S, and when I saw that the same company (albeit under a different name) had one for the Golf, I knew I had to get it...eventually. The price tag was a bit much though. Luckily, this one popped up for sale on the forums for about $200 less than what it was new, and I jumped all over it. Some powder coat has been scraped off the bottom of the fins, but since the diffuser is aluminum, it won't rust. I may still hit it with paint just the hide the imperfections, but you can't see it when the car is on the ground. The fins aren't as aggressive as the diffuser I had on the FR-S, but after stabbing my feet and ankles whenever I wore flip flops around them, I'm happy with the smaller, less noticeable design.

I'm too lazy to clean the car and take decent pics with the dslr, so we'll just have to settle for quick cell phone shots:

I like that they run models for all of their aero parts - this model has their front dive planes as well, but I'm not sure if I want to drill the bumper for that just yet. Most people on the forums that run this diffuser have seen a 1-2mpg increase, which shows that it does increase aerodynamic efficiency.

The install is a breeze, but you just have to take some time to align it and make sure it is set to the correct angle (bottom of fins at same angle as undertray of car). Now I just need to find a front splitter that I like.

It came with the silver stainless screws, so I'm using those. If I could find something that won't rust, I'd swap.

Cheap MIC stainless steel.

Get some good quality Stainless and it'll hold up. Or spring for some aluminum or titanium and be baller with no rust.

I assumed @RPhilMan1 was referring to the screws on the diffuser. Those aren't rusty. The rusty screws are the ones on the license plate - no idea what those are since they came with the BMW plate bracket. I need to figure out what thread they are so I can replace them with something decent.

Aren't most license plate bolts the same size?

Canadian Tires here have a little board you can use to find our your screw size. I put some nice little socket head screws on the Mazda.

Steal some off a new Golf next time you're at the dealer

Up here in Canadark, you can't win. The metal ones rust. The plastic ones break off due to the extreme cold.
