Went up to ACH for a photoshoot. Got my camera out, the timing was perfect. Turned on my camera and realized there's no memory card. Left it at home.

Thankfully, one of my canyon run friends was at the same turnout just chilling. He had this 13 year old Canon 20D with some random lens. He let me use it. I didn't know how to even use it, it was so old. haha

Wow that's the hottest FRS I've ever seen, minus the butthole torture device on the shifter.

Thank you guys!

That sexual torture device is apparently from Australia, forgot the name of the brand but that brand is super popular in the show car scene. It's kinda like vape of the shifter knob industry right now. I didn't know about it until recently some of my customers were having them on their cars.

The automatic FRS/BRZs are actually very fun to drive, my customers often let me drive the car up the canyon for the photoshoot since we are usually cutting it close for the sunset golden hour. The transmission feels very smooth and quick even though it's just the traditional automatic. I think it's the same unit as the Lexus IS350. The person who got me into the tracking my car has a Jackson Racing supercharged FRS in automatic, he turns in 1:26 at Street of Willow which is literally flying. haha

Dat Gold 86.

Lately, I've been noticed by the show car guys, so I've been getting a lot of business from that side. Not my type of crowd but it is what it is.

Business is business, as long as the owner likes it and pay you well, that is all it matters.

Yep! Exactly. And to be honest, from my recent experiences with the owners of the show cars, they are all very genuinely nice guys. Maybe because I've been meeting the guys with actual money, not the ones who have shitty parts all over and always ask for sponsorship? sponsorship?

Nice work! Tell him he should probably rotate his tires, though, as the fronts look like they have more tread. And that mismatch rear passenger tire bothers me.

I went to the Willow Springs Balcony to help out my buddies doing a 86 GT academy track event. It's an instructional school event for RWD cars, learning the car control. I wasn't going to run, but got some free runs in around noon. First time ever doing a track event that isn't grip driving. I was struggling majorly for the first 15 mins, but then kinda got it down and managed to circle around for about 15 times in a row without stopping. Drifting isn't my thing but it's most definitely essential for track driving. It's so funnnnnnnnnn

I took some photos with my camera but will post those later. This is from my FB.

I have the Hankook RS3 tires on, so not really ideal for sliding around, but it worked out well.

Leaving to the track on last Saturday. The sky was red due to the forest fire. We caravan through the ash filled canyon. It was pretty cool lol

Haha yeah! It has enough power to break those grippy tires loose.

I only drive my car in the canyon and track nowadays. No daily miles hahaha I have a lot of plans for my BRZ. Will start it slowly. The car is insanely fun to drive with everything stock plus sticky tires and aggressive brake pads.

Running Hankook RS3 225/45/17 and Project Mu Club Racer brake pads front and back. It's very fast in the canyon and at the track.

Headliner+Pillars are some good combos.
