That turned out SICK... I really love the pic at the gas pumps... BTW... I really like the rims like they are... gives you some brightness to contrast the dark on the top... my honest and humble opinion... I really would like to see some photos with the car in motion after you have it just like you want it...

+1. If you could touch up the front portion where it's faded and there are traces of red, that would make it clean!

I would have done the engine bay in black. I think that would have looked great. Just my preference though.

I have to say though....you did awesome work with this car. You should be proud of the work you did.

This car has come such a long way. Awesome job all around KD! I still prefer the pop-up lights of the USDM version though!

lol

I'm ordering a FMIC kit and miscellaneous gaskets and refresh parts (oil pump, oil pan, water pump, rear main seal, etc)

I figured while the motor is out of the car, might as well fix it up as well as I can.

An SR works.... As long as you keep the weight of the vehicle down, you'll be fine.

That is one of the reasons I decided to go the SR route. You get a near 50/50 weight distribution, and seeing how I'm starting to get serious about auto crossing, I didn't want a front heavy car. The SR is an aluminum block, the RB and KA are iron.

The SR will be more than enough to transform it into a beast. I never got the chance to drive a 240 with the swap, but even the K24 w/bolt ons was quick, I can't even imagine how fun the SR would be. Of course keep us posted with updates dood!

This motor is SPOTLESS. The exporter didn't even have to clean it, it's that clean. We are running a compression test this weekend to see if it's insides are as good as it's outsides. So far I'm impressed. It appears to be a VERY low mileage motor-set.

that's awesome! I don't know anything really about Nissan so the motor you have right now compared to this one, how much better is this one?

That engine looks great! Just paint your Engine bay black and then paint your Engine cover white and you'll be set!

I paid $2000 for the redtop. I'm purchasing a few extra miscellaneous bits and pieces for the install tomorrow along with a BOV.

Which blow off valve did you get? I'm looking into them but can't decide which one I want. I don't need something that is ridiculously loud.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to paint the engine bay.

As far as the BOV goes, I think I've decided on the Greddy Type RS.
