Congrats on selling the Cobra! I was looking at your CL ad and I started getting crazy ideas. I hope it’s going to a good home!
Yeah, it's an easy car to get into your head. I really did like that car but I just didn't drive it much... so it became part of the streamlining plan. Guy has a YouTube channel and a few cars, so I feel like he'll give it way more attention...
New car for the wife - 2020 CX9 Signature. Really impressed with the build quality and the quality of the interior. I was worried about the engine being under powered, but it does pretty well.
The CX9 is a good driving SUV. I just wouldn't be able to do the required brown interior. Much prefer the brown interior color on the Mazda6 Signature.

My wife actually wanted it because of the brown interior :P
We looked at 2019s with the Auburn interior, which I liked a notch better than the chestnut. But with the 0% and the bench seats for the 2020, we decided to go with the 2020
Ah, I didn't realize they'd changed the color. I remember the early CX9s had a pretty polarizing interior color on the Signature trim. Had a bit too much orange in the color for me.
That reminds me so much of my ST, Aman. I had the same color (2013). I had a ST3 and loved the Recaros. I would probably still have it were it not for the electrical gremlin we could never find.
The lease deals aren't too bad on them either. They're around $1.20 per horsepower per month with nothing down.
I love justifications like this.
Literally thought this at one point: man, my exhaust setup is pricey for almost zero performance gain. But it puts a smile on my face or at least gives me a little surge of dopamine daily. Spread out over how long I expect to have it, plus factoring in what I could get once I take it off and sell it, it costs me less than a dollar a day. In other words, less than what I dump into the vending machines at work.
When I spec'd one, it was more like $812/mo with nothing down and 10k miles/yr. That's with $7k in options though (grey brakes, Harmon Kardon stereo, sunroof, nav, 20" warp speed wheels, summer tires). IMO it's a fantastic deal. 12k miles is $835, 15k is $879. And that's what they're advertising without any negotiating. A base car is about $80 less per month.
I was impressed with the 10AT in the Touring. The 6MT Sport was good, but not amazing, IMO.
The 6spd is fun. But not for DD for me. Lol. I wanted remote start factory. With the Sport mode, I can feel the difference in driving. The 6spd doesn't come with it. I like to feel the difference when I drive in Sport and normal mode. Lol.

The manual was about as fun as a heavy fwd car could be. If I were to get one it would probably be the auto.
From what I've seen, the auto is putting down the same numbers as the 6spd. Seen a dyno with one guy on a 2.0 Touring putting down 265ft-tq to the wheels. Might be more with the 6spd. But hey. With the stage 2 KTune I plan to do, I'll have plenty of power that I would want. Shoot. The power it has now seems to be a lot. Lol.

If we can get 5k off... that is about 100 a month in payment.

Mine was priced at $82k, put $2k down and another 2k transferred over from my old hellcat. 42month 12k/yr lease runs me $759. Could have probably gotten better, but my old hellcat was giving me major headaches, so I jumped on it. Also, power dollars ($10/hp) doesn't apply to leases, only purchases.

Not bad at all.. for the amount of performance you get... 760 a month is cheap
Traded the 08 TL. Got an Accord Sport 2.0. Love this thing. And before you ask...No. I didn't get the 6spd. Lol.
I did. I need to post a thread here...just haven't gotten to it. Have had my Sport 2.0 for almost 7 months and 4300 miles. Other than that weird 1st to 2nd gear rev hang, I love the 6-speed manual. My Accord is also SNP. Great choice. Fabulous daily driver.

Your S2000 is gorgeous. I'm Honda-jealous that you have a NC1 NSX, a CTR, and a S2000.
