up until last year, it was still sitting in my mom's garage in California... it hadn't been started in years... but my sister needed a new (used) car... so we ended up trading it in, she got a Q50.

I hope you don't work or park at the airport. When I had a white car, washing it wasn't enough to get the streaks out of the paint after it rained. Jet fuel does that so out came the polish. I won't buy black either.

None of that stuff back then...probably before you were born. I now use the spray-on Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax on the daily driver. Great stuff. Not sure about using any of the professional or consumer grade ceramic on the Porsches. I've heard bad things from a club member. Could be the way he applied it although he seemed to be quite particular.

The color is amazing in person. We had a TON of compliments, but sadly enough, not many knew it was an NSX. All they saw was this yellow sports car. Before returning the NSX after dinner, the maître d' said "It's a beautiful car but it's not an exotic". As I stated in my build thread, we all know the NSX is an exotic sports car.. I'm sure she only considers exotics as Lamborghini or Ferrari. The NSX was well worth it! Such an incredible machine.

The one thing I'll say for sure about the NSX is that it looks spectacular on the road. Not many cars are as attention-grabbing (in a good way) as that is.

But, I think in a more neutral color, you could maybe just get by without attracting too much attention. In a black or gray/silver, it doesn't scream 'look at me' as much, IMO.
