i cant imagine how large a 1x magnification 100% full frame viewfinder would look like!
or even a medium/large format camera.

but in all seriousness, if you are really going to be taking this seriously you should have a backup body in case a body dies out in the field.

i know!
well if you want to see what i posted.
im just not sure i dig the editing on it..
i purposely made it warmer than it was in real life, brought up the contrast, saturation and fiddled a little with levels, curves and sharpened.

is there any way to tell what color space a RAW file is? I mean, without converting it.

so uh, i didnt mean to say or imply the 1Ds3 was shoddy. its a great cam (and for being $8k, I think it should be). I just would have been happier with a IV.

I just tried flickr slideshow after a long hiatus. why "Embiggen" is a default on the world's largest photo site is beyond me. absolutely the dumbest option ever. /rant

Canon WTF is with them, they have 60D for $900 and just released T3i for $900. Just flood the market to flood the market. Seemed that the xxD series had a purpose.

I shoot people
when the sun comes out in Vancouver, nice cars come out... thinking about going out and practicing some panning shots. I tried panning with my friend while he played hockey the other night... and didn't do too well

all work and no play
I was at a friends house last night and happened to notice a Rebel XTI box on the table, it seemed out of place with him, so I inquired.
He got two brand new in the box XTI's out of the dumpster at Walmart. Both of them had shutter issues, something that he and a friend were able to fix on their own. The friend who helped him moves roll off containers, and said that things like this are the norm at Walmart
