Yea last time I went in 2012? There was a lot of smog too, my relatives told me most of it comes from mainland China.

Pentax Full Frame coming

Ricoh announces development of long-awaited full-frame Pentax DSLR: Digital Photography Review

And so it was written that since the beginning of recorded time, Pentax shooters have predicted the release of a full-frame K-mount DSLR. Today, their prayers have been answered, as Ricoh has announced the development of exactly that.

The company didn't share a whole lot of detail, other than to say that it will be compatible with DA lenses via a crop function and that it will be available by the end of 2015. The concept model (pictured above) will be shown next week at CP+ in Japan where we hope to learn more about it.

Funny..I've been seeing more people post this edelkrone piece today...and I have been using their stuff for awhile now. They make some great albeit expensive gear.

This new piece...is something I have found myself wanting many times in many situations.

It looks REALLY useful. Have you seen it for sale anywhere? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Its like a little high hat, its own weighed base to get really low...or set up up high on a shelf to get a shot where you couldn't otherwise get a tripod.

Its actually quite versatile, as demonstrated in the video. Its a great little thing...I like far more than many of their other pocket series products.

Yeah...thats the point...and it doesn't take up much space when in use either. Much smaller footprint than a small tripod, and much more versatile and easy to tilt.

Oh right, I forgot by itself. I was thinking of when they showed it being used on a tripod.

For what I use on my tripod, it's too much bulk. I like the design and flexibility. But the need to slim it down some. As for a stand alone, not bad but limited.

For stand alone tabletop, I use a $20 Manfrotto Pixi. On tripod, I won't use anything but RRS ballheads. I will not use a ballhead that takes the camera and lens off of the center of gravity.

It is different and I can see why others would like it. But not for me, too much bulk.

Has anybody else seen the new flickr camera roll interface...

It's the first time I've been able to look through my hosted pictures without punching my monitor in a long time. Granted it's not something new... any old computer app is laid out in a similar fashion, it's just slightly less retarded than it was.

Has any one also noticed that now when you click on SOME photos on flickr you get an enlarged view of the photo? Other photos...not much happens.

You mean on other people's photos? That depends on their settings. If they let you see larger sizes it'll resize to take up as much space as possible. If they restrict sizes, and your resolution is high, it won't show you a large image on the photo page.
