my Sigma 10-20's front lens is pretty small in comparison with the overall size of the face....that just might work!

I realize I don't have any lenses suitable for cropped use. The difference between FF and cropped is bigger than I thought it would be. I'll need to get the 10-22 at some point.

Next time try hopping over the fence to get the shot, as long as you have a professional looking camera they will usually let you get away with it.

Thanks! I'm still just learning from scratch so I'm trying! It's hard though, I hardly have any time lately. I've got a job for the next 5 weeks living on campus for some high school college prep program with kids below a certain income level and all this stuff. Maybe I can practice taking pics of them? I'll need release forms, haha.

Thankfully, there's no transmissions involved in rocket propulsion.

North shore of Long Island
These shots were taken with my phone on today's bike ride.
I was riding by myself and figured it was too nice not to stop and get shots.

Saturn V...this thing is HUGE... Complex and beautiful... I have no Idea why the capsule looks like that... It looks like it did a full re-entry burn...look at the pitting!!!... the rest has been restored... and they built a building around it!!! Lights, A/C and a full history of the Apollo program on the right wall... Amazing!

Sweetness, I am so glad that you're enjoying them... its pretty intense when you look to the back wall, you can barely see the people back there...

Plus, this is quite a compliment coming from a pro like you!

Can I jump on the Saturn V bandwagon?

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/billiam29/4756390984/" title="SII Stage Detail by Billiam29, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4079/4756390984_2694f8a3f5_b.jpg" width="900" height="726" alt="SII Stage Detail" /></a>

^^Now imagine betting your life that all that will work right.
