Or maybe you can start a new thread "My shitty photos or 'what not do with a camera'"

Didn't realize critiquing your "photography" was hating on you personally...though I shouldn't be surprised seeing how you over react to everything else.
Perhaps it is not I who needs to "grow the fuck up"

I just looked though most of this thread..And from what I have seen you post, is pure snapshots..Nothing special behind them..Maybe you need to re-evaluate your self as a person and a novice..I would not call you a photographer..That would be lying!! How bout coming up with a concept, tell a story with your pics..Putting down others makes you feel better about your lack of skill.. I get it..lol Maybe one day you will understand that it does not matter how expensive your camera is. That's not what defines a photographer..Being creative separates the men from the boys..You are officially on my ignore list..Good day.

Took a couple of these with the RX100 MKII when I visited Vietnam. I'm starting to use this camera a lot more then the DSLR only because it's easy to have around when I need it.

Very few people here have ever made money from photography. Sarlacc happens to be one of them and has put some truly awesome pictures on this message board. Be more open to suggestions and criticism rather than always looking for validation.
Now, please tell me how my pictures suck and then put me on ignore.

That's a lot of snow! How much did you guys get?
I came to post some wintery pics, too. We got about 0.25" of ice over our snow today.

Dude, I tried to make some gentle suggestions in your "other" thread and you were not too keen on any criticism then either. You consistently (here) refuse to accept any C+C, yet you post your pics looking for validation (bumping your own thread). Truthfully, some of the pics have some merit, but others seem "wrong" on several levels including composition, lighting, choice of F-stop, etc... As a professional (your assertion, not mine) you should be continually looking for pointers to improve your product. O assure you , your competitors are trying to get better than you. I assume you run your business the proper way, with insurance, advertising, etc... Do you use the photos you have posted here in the ads you run? I assume you would want your best shots on the ads, so getting C+C from any source should be something you seek.

Read this..Just incase you missed it..Explains a lot about Sarlaccs attitude towards me..As far as your opinions, you are entitled to them..Thanks for the compliment buried deep in your paragraphhttp://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...38898068530311
Criticism from anyone is worthy of listening to. The point is you may not agree with what they have to say, but it's up to you to remain open minded and either 1) accept it and be constructive about it, or 2) brush it off and simply say, thanks for the advice and continue what you're doing. However, from my perspective you tend to lash out at others that provide you criticism which is not the trait of a good photographer, and surely not the trait of someone that is striving for creativity. This is just my perspective on this subject matter as I've had the unique privilege of being among some really great photographers on this board and although you may not agree with what a few of them have to say, I'm hard pressed to think that you are better in every dynamic of photography than they are. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and we can all learn something from everyone.

When the fact is you're some short tempered wanna be e-thug who does NOT take good photos.
You just want praise heaped upon your half assed attempts and you fragile little ego can't bear anything else.
But yes, you listen to that article. Stay sensitive little flower and cry yourself to sleep every night knowing the truth is that you're no where near as good as you want to pretend.

So you're implying Sarlacc isn't a credible person to be offering you criticism? I surely do hope that you know his background before you begin to go down that road.

Maybe you should look at the content of his post towards me..I am open-minded..But have zero tolerance for someone who bashes people. There is nothing positive that comes out of his mouth...I know who I am and my clients are happy..This is the only thread that makes such a big deal about me posting my work. If someone wants to comment on a photo fine..But last time I checked, this is not a critique thread.People post pics and no one is all over them like a fly on $hit..But I get singled out by mainly one person who has a low self esteem..But you see that does not get me down and I will continue to post my pics. One insecure person on this thread(Sarlacc) will not stop me from my passion..You guys are not vey good in judging character if you feel Sarlacc is right on his behavior.. Oh well..carry-on..

A couple months ago a friend asked me to take some of his bumper sticker. I don't even own a jeep and would never put the bumper sticker on something I own (even my parts cars), so I stuck it to a magnet and slapped it on a bunch of random metal things at my shop.
I don't like the catchphrase and I don't think the url works, but I like the way the pictures turned out.
