PICS would do it more justice. I have been to the strawberry festival many times & it is a beautiful place, including several long rope bridges that span the small river/creek that runs through it. It isnt too far from the beach, yet, its not too close either. See if you could snap some pics this weekend of the olohan valley parkway and the other parking areas. Also dont forget to mark the TIME it takes to get to the beach.
i dont think its far
pismo is also a 5 min drive. 5 cities area

im perfectly cool with raffles, prizes, awards, stickers, shirts...just didnt feel the need for large corporate sponsors with test drive models of the 2012 tl lol..sponsors would still be cool, they can set up tents/booths even if its at a park...
who ever is checking out the park should check for music regulations.

From where my car is to the white Altima is on the left has parking on the opposite side. then there is parking all the way down as you can see. there is also parking behind me

For what it is worth here is my thoughts, with the new marketing Acura is doing with the TL, Thor, commercials etc, Fresno Acura's loyalty to Acurafest does it not make more sense to hold the event with in there general Local, as last year my understanding was they pushed Acura to partcipate No offense meant to other gathering's being held with AZer's but Acurafest was well done perhaps one of the best. Chukchansi did a great a great job for us it was reasonableto stay and they really treated us all well. The pool area where everyone gathered was pretty awesome. Fresno may have been warm but at least we were welcomed and had a great egathering and event plus it is close for the Acura King's home base for him to work his magic for all of us

^ nothing wrong with last years meet I did not feel as though it was commercialized at all. I voted for Chumash but next choice would be Chuckachansi... It was a great hotel to stay at fun for everyone and made the day worth the long drive.... my feelings is if its going to be an all cali acurafest its better to make it more legit than just "hey lets meet at the park guys..." just my thoughts

im down for whatever day, whatever place! just need to request the weekend off from work since it seems like its leaning more towards the weekend anyways and i always work weekends. just need to find some people to caravan with out there from norcal.
