who knows, it may be nice to step away from the sponsors, booths, ect and just have a good ol meet. idk. im just thinking aloud
Most of the Nor Cal guys will come I think there are probably 2 that wouldnt because they wouldnt want to drive that far but some of the Nor Cal guys just recently went down to SoCal for some meets

its deffenetaly worth the consideration maybe i can talk one of my friend into making a trip up there one of these days coming up and i can take some photos... its like 1:45 from my house

i'm willing to take pictures of whatever, and i'm closer to the chumash (45 min tops) than murph145 so it wouldn't be as inconvenient (that is unless you really want to go then by all means)

just let me know what is needed and i'll do the scouting

btw murph145 your avatar is hilarious, especially since i'm going to be my friend's wingman this weekend

Gold Coast Acura seems to be the closest. Of course that was last year when we were looking for Dealership & general locations.

that is the closet dealer iirc. someone would need to do foot work if we DO end up having it chumash.

or, if we do pismo, we can just do a regular-non dealer sponsored meet like the first two meets. we dont need awards, display cars, booths ect. just hang out and meet people over some nice looking cars and some good food it may be a nice change of pace/venue.

we all can drive our cars on the beach (5 dollar day fee cost) and take pics there if you guys arent too scared of getting your cars a little dirty. my MS3 makes it out on the beach just fine.

or we can do fresno, Fresno Acura has had our backs for the last two meets, im sure they would help out for a third.

it just depends on what kind of meet we want.

i had a feeling the so cal guys would vote for Chumash

but we also need to make it fair for everyone else. if norcal backs out, then i would say it needs to be a little more centralized for everyones sake

i agree, the booths and vendors are a nice touch, but why not take it back to the original type of all cali meet? i know Roger has put a lot of effort into the past two Acurafests/All-Cali Meets, but taking it back to what made it what it is would be nice.

just friends, food, cars, and fun. We dont need anything else to have a good time. theres plenty to do in the central coast area (pismo)

I missed out the first two meets, it would be nice to have that type of(low effort) meet. just arrange a meeting place, set a date, and have everyone show up

i'm only speaking for myself but i feel like i might be left out of the loop without vendors or sponsors just bc no one knows me personally. i went to one of the hat meets in pasadena a while back and only one person talked to me even though i tried introducing myself to everyone i came across
but maybe this will be better

im at the coast right now. im getting the gfs car serviced while she is at school. i can drive around afterwards and see if theres any decent sized parks around

if you guys want to have dealer involvement and sponsors, Fresno would be the best bet. Fresno Acura has had our back and im sure they wouldnt hesitate to sponsor us again.

socal drove up to fresno 2 years ago and a bit further up last year.

both 4 hours+... you guys were 2.5-3 hours away.

we drove... blowing tires.. bending rims... wheels/spacers coming loose..

but if you really want equal treatment.. just have it in pismo.

Called Chumash 4 times so far & haven't got a return call. Keep you guys posted. So far I have only gotten as far as the front office. I got transferred twice to customer relations & the rest were to the promo director. Ill keep you guys updated.

The goal here is to get a dollar amount so we know how much we have to fork out.

I think we should just make it a regular meet no vendors or anything like that... sit in the park and chill. The woodward park meet in Fresno was perfect and so was the one before that.

I say have it in Pismo... since the voting is all screwed up..

i have a spot: its in the Village of Arroyo Grande. its right past Pismo Beach (5 mins) off the 101 and Grand Ave (Road 227)

they host the strawberry festival there and its a pretty big park. it spans behind the right hand side of the village.

if i go back on saturday for the Pismo Car show, then ill snap some pics. there is a bbq area, and there is a creek that runs through the park.

ill see if i can get on google maps for the meantime
