with Dan Martin, that's a phenomenal shade of blue, but the body work on the car is overdone and those stacked tail-pipes are horrendous. It don't car how good the specs are, I would never pay my own money to own this car just based on how ugly they made it.

not to mention warmed up. My guess is half of the design-haters on here will change their mind once they see it in person and see the performance.

You're probably right. Under heavy load it will sound more aggressive.

Wow, that exhaust sounds heavenly. I'm gonna have to look into one of these babies as my second car when I'm done with the TSX.

Are You Ready for an IS Coupe? Maybe

http://www.nihoncar.com/en/news-516-...attle+%21.html

After the L600h and L600hL which set the standard of luxury sedans to a whole new level and offer a real alternative to the German manufacturers, Lexus, probably helped by the almighty Toyota has been sharpening his tools and looks ready for the battle !

The news come from the Japanese magazine "Car-Top" and even though those are rumours, we all know how it goes nowadays in the automotive industry, there is no time to waste with false informations. The big "L" has got 3 new weapons on their way.

Firstly the Lexus IS, challenging cars such as the BMW 3 series or Mercedes C Class, should soon be adding a convertible version to the lineup, a great news for all those who want to enjoy the upcoming summer in the best dispositions, no infos on the type of engine there will be under the right foot yet

That much of a sloping rear roof line does not look doable for a retract-hardtop.
There would not be much of a rear window to look out of.

I doubt an IS vert would replace the SC vert, they're in completely different price ranges. Heck the MSRP for a base SC430 is more than twice the MSRP for a base IS250!

I saw one at the Taste of Lexus. It looks alright. But for the price they'll be putting on, it's probably not worth it.

I'll be waiting for a comparison of IS-F, M3 and RS4.
