I don’t know man I thought Honda has always been setting themselves apart from the competition…who else is putting 280+hp to the front wheels in this segment..?

Just kidding man

Supposedly the lights on the lower part of the bumper are the turn signals.

But in the video they are continuously on ... all 4 of them. Is this another way to gain road presence? Guess having 4 lights will draw attention ...

I wonder if a 6 spd AT would have improved those MPG numbers

It looks pretty cool. I have no problem with that. You can probably turn the bottom ones off if it bothers you.

A 7-speed AT will flare even better, especially if the top-most gear has a super-overdrive gear ratio which will greatly improve the highway MPG number.

I was more curious about the numbers for the G37X, which would make for a fair-er fight.

The G35x sedan is currently rated at 17/23. We can probably safely assume 17-24 or 18-24 with the 7AT.

Then again a G35x 'only' weighs 3,700lbs. We can bet the TL-SH will be in and around 4k or more.

Are you trying to use the expression "fare better"?

I've seen you use "flare better" in a couple of threads.....is there something funny I am missing?

Probably really poor. I was arguing with some nimrod on TOV about that being plastic, and he says it's real like in the current TL but without the etching.

Grille doesn't look quite as bad when the car is silver, I guess because it blends in and makes it look body-colored. Still ugly though.

That's probably why they chose silver as the press car. But then again Honda has always chosen silver.

Wait, wait, wait. Aren't this the specs exclusively reserved for the NSX-replacement coming out in 2010. As for the TL, another five years if we're lucky.

Thumbs up Interior

I like the interior. Acura always has great ones IMHO. I know plenty will complain about the buttons but I do not mind them as long as they serve a purpose. I have touch nav now & I still usually the buttons bc it is just quiker & easier ... do not have to go thru menus to do anything.

Me too. I think this interior well represents the mixture of lux and sporty in a sedan.

the interior is amazing! the textured aluminum looks stunning

however the ext is still weird to me maybe if ronjon made some aftermarket mdx front grills it would make it look better

Too bad, Acura could have done so much better. The interior is nice but the exterior seems like a big step back from the current car. The wheels look nice though....

well the accord's interior can rival many expensive/luxury cars, if not better.
