Nope. The article doesn't mention anything about the features or quality the NSX will exhibit.
However, the article does clearly mention that the benchmarks for the NSX are the Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911, Audi R8, Ferrari 458 and McLaren 12C with development having a large focus on driver involvement and pleasure.
Everything that has been hinted about this car so far leads me to believe that the goal is to not deviate from the original NSX, which has been recognized as one of the greatest sports cars ever.

As with the original, the eventual power figure won’t grab headlines, for instance, but the qualities that you can’t write down, such as driver involvement and pleasure, are the ones that will matter.
You have to admit, though, that there has been a major leap in engineering in the past 10 years when it comes to engine HP. Back when the original NSX came out (which I still love, BTW) the amount of HP that NA V6 was producing was considered pretty heady stuff. These days, not so much. If the NSX is to compete, it will need to produce some pretty serious power.

So again, just STFU because the more you attempt to look cool, the more stupid you actually appear.

As for the benchmarks, they've stated loud and clear what they are and if you're not trying to read in between the lines, then it's fairly obvious that the cars mentioned are being benchmarked for performance. I can't remember the last time a GTR was hailed for its feel and emotion. It's like a video game to drive. I don't find it hard to believe that the NSX can match those cars.
It's not all about the power figure. This isn't going to be a La Ferrari with 950 hp. It will probably barely have half of that figure. But if Acura can manage to use SH-AWD to outperform a current S4 with the heavier and underpowered TL, the new generation of SH-AWD will no doubt give the NSX a significant performance advantage compared to cars with the same power output.

For someone that is as angry and bitter at life as you are, I would have thought that you would have at least given yourself the opportunity to read the facts. Or is that what you're used to, reading only what supports your claims and ignoring the facts. This thread was pulled off topic when Zoomy decided to offer his wisdom, responding to a post that wasn't even directed at her, with content that had zero relevance. Then you came in and had to hold his hand and speak for him. How soon we forget.
So again, just STFU because the more you attempt to look cool, the more stupid you actually appear.

Let the grown ups continue the thread topic.

But nowhere does it say it will compete with. Just driver involvement and pleasure. Its quoted to say
i get out of that that they arent able to compete power wise but because we spent a lot of time refining the car it will be a pleasurable drive. The times arent like when the original nsx came out where even though it was down on power it was still able to compete. The other manufacturers have caught up and then some. They will need power to compete.

If so, they would have been speaking to such, and numbers and specs would be "leaking" out already.
It's not to say it's going to be a dud. I think it will be an interesting drive train with the elec. motors. It's going to be a bit off the beaten path of the "competitors" in this class.
In a nutshell, it will be the mostly typical Acura of the past +decade: Don't compete directly with the competitors, don't beat your competitors, just create a different vehicle(s) and march to the beat of your own drum.

Yea, I don't think this car on paper is going to compete head to head.

It'll be released soon.
Like 2020. Let's just wait a little.
Honestly can't wait to see it in person some day.

It's attractive, but this is my problem with Acura designs...I feel like there could be more done to it. It's half baked. The so-called Jew-Eyed LED light clusters, while performing adequately I'm sure, don't stand a chance next to the designs coming out of Audi's LED lighting.
BTW the other night I saw an Accord touring with the LED lights lighting the road ahead of him, WOW those things are fantastic.

True that about Accord, now imagine the NSX lights which will be 10x better... jaw dropping!
RLX and MDX have killer lights already, very distinctive.
