So, you kids know what's next after this delay? The cancellation...naturally, due to the bad economy and etc.

Wrong.
They are delaying this because of the Super EL Nino is coming. They are just trying to be proactive.
For once, Acura is ahead of the game. Advance!

haha no love for continental tires? I use their extreme contact DWS for the RDX and thought they are pretty good for all-season tires. My friend has the summer version (extremecontact DW) on his S2K and Forester STI. I test drove them and thought they are quite decent too.
The contisportcontact 5P is quite common in high end performance cars: AMG cars, Porsches, Audi S models, BMW M models....etc.

A $150K supercar deserves nothing but the best : the stickiest summer compound tires; in order to take on the Ferrari's.
Shit, do I sound like SSFTSX !?

I feel the need...

I don't understand this interior. Shouldn't the alacantra color be more uniform throughout instead of mixing?
Personally, I would rather have ventilated leather seats.

all these 141 pages are really for nothing.
1. Delayed Delayed and Delayed again
2. When finally released, there will be 2 or 3 cars available per dealer for the whole year
3. 3 or 4 years later, when it is finally available to the mass, it will be outdated.
4. at 150K starting, how many will continue to buy after all the hardcare Acura fans (with $$) got theirs? Faster or slower really makes no difference.

If you didn't realize it, this thread was made available for you to pad up your postcount. Duh. But, don't tell anyone. It's a sekrit.

Mixing of colors make interior less dark and pedestrian. These brown leather touches from center console to door panels built with new manufacturing process and materials.

When I saw that interior I thought I was in the TLX thread for a second.

Now, looking back, it sure makes Honda look dumb when they made the announcement too early in 2012. I'd imagine if they didn't do make that major switch from transverse J series to bespoke longitudinal V6 TT, the NSX would already be out by now for a few months. Anyways, the news I heard is that the car is pretty much ready to go. But there are a few glitches found during this tour. They want to make sure all the glitches are all fixed before launching.
Anyways, so here are some confirmed tires sizes based on these pics:
Front: 245/35R19
Rear: 305/30R20

What's unusual is why Honda/Acura engineers even considered using a transverse NA V6 in the first place. Considering they did a front engine V10 before as the potential NSX next gen in the early 2000's, it's surprising they would go back to the NA V6 in the first place. Even if it had been tuned up more than say the RLX platform's hybrid drivetrain it wound not have been competitive in the current exotic marketplace. None the less it's good they went to the longitudinal dry sump twin turbo V6. Gives a solid platform with lots of power growth.

Nice to see Honda/Acura back into the exotic car marker. Doubt I'll ever get one let alone drive it but it looks great. The flying buttress is stylist but subdued and integrates has the intercooler inlets. Those wheels and interiors also look great.

You cant be serious.. Give them credit for not rushing it out? They have been doing everything in their powers to make this car take 10 years longer than it should have. At this point the only thing that should delay this car is their manufacturing facility being swallowed by a sink hole.

Hopefully they axe it soon and this thread will be locked. I can't endure another year of NSX trolling (from both, Acura and Azine).

No. A suggestion. Somehow, I suspect if I'd said "please" it would have been no more effective. Nevertheless, give the "thanks" attached to my post, it seems it was a somewhat popular suggestion.

Rooting for Acura

Then new NSX is (or will be) a solid contender in the supercar market. It is the best effort we as enthusiasts have seen out of Honda in forever. It looks good. It's got hype. However, the only thing this car has in common with the old NSX is the name. The design does not remind me of the NSX at all. If you loose the power plenum grill and the Acura badges this car could be a creation from any car manufacturer. Not to say that it is bland, but as nice looking as it is, I think, in some small part, Honda missed the point. That point being, NSX enthusiasts wanted a new NSX. Is it that the design was so dated that designing the new car using styling cues from the old car was impossible? Perhaps. Nevertheless, Honda didn't make a new NSX. They made a class-worthy, modern day supercar and called it the NSX.
