Thx for posting pics and article.
Chassis reminds me of a NASCAR clips in the front and rear with the extruded rails welded together for structure and suspension pickup points, C7 does something similar for the front. Rear transaxle is huge considered the rear electric motor is a pretty thin planar type between the V6 and the transaxle. Kinda surprised Honda engineered steel components into chassis pillars, perhaps better deformation and energy absorption than AL in a crash?

^Honda hates you, yes! The reason is that they are NOT a car company, but an engine company. They can't be bothered with rattles or the stereo doesn't sound as good as in <insert car brand/model here>.
So. Honda being an engine company, what the NSX is turning out to be (at least in my humble opinion) is an exercise to build drive trains for others... *cough*cough* McLaren.
So, vapourware NSX is indeed an engine/drive train effort, not a car effort.
my 2 cents +taxes.
PS. HondaJet? What HondaJet? They are evolving the GE Honda Aero HF120 Engines and retrofitting old Cessnas.

A reminder that the current Honda F1 powerplant (RA615H turbo 1.6L-V6 turbo with ERS), as used exclusively on the McLaren-Honda cars, is not doing well at all in Formula 1.
It is suffering from both reliability and engine output issues.

I feel the need...
It's fun to make light of Acura's delay in bringing the NSX to market, but it still looks compelling enough to me to stay interested, and stay interested and stay interested...

Where did I say an R8 looks bad? Simply pointed out that other than midship displacement, the two cars look dissimilar and you'd have to be blind to confuse the two.
