TSX Custom DVD Install - Alpine IVA-D300

Head Unit - Alpine IVA-D300

Bracketing Used - OEM Acura TSX MP3 Player Attachment Kit

It was my first unit before the Eclipse AVN 5435. This setup looks more OEM versus the new one but I didn't liked the pop-up screen so I yanked it out last year.

Alpine Unit ON SALE!!

Did you keep the fact radio in? Can you still use the fact radio if it is still in?
Is there a way where you can watch DVD's on your Alpine (or whatever is in now) and listen to the radio, XM, CD's, etc... through the fact radio?

factory is still functional. i can switch between the unit by just pressing the AUX button. but no you cannot watch dvd while listening to other stuffs. you may be able to do it by wiring up speakers seperately from two units but whats the need for that?? anyways this is my old setup now. i have new unit installed

That is awesome. Great job. It looks amazing. Would you be able to give me directions on how and what you did exactly. I would love to have a unit that play DVD's in my car without removing the radio or even losing control of it.
I just want to know how you installed it and what accessories you used during your installation. Again your install looks great. Does the Alpine come with a brain, if so where did you hide it? You did bypass the parking brake wire right?
Thanks

Extra Parts Needed:

1. shonda aux converter
2. ground loop isolator
3. signal booster
4. acura mp3 attachment kit
5. pac bypass unit

Alpine brain goes below the passenger seat. This way you have access to add in whatever other stuffs you need through AUX In/Out plugs. I'm selling my Alpine unit and have the attachment kit too. PM me if your interested.
