2015 TLX - where is hands free module located?

This is very difficult to search for because no matter what I type in on Google for TLX fifth gen I'm getting results about fourth gen TL cars with hands free module battery drain.
A friend of mine has a 2015 TLX and after his battery kept dying he went to a repair shop to do a battery drain test, they narrowed it down to the hands free/bluetooth module saying it isn't turning off and needs to be replaced. This backs up my friend saying that his car would connect to his phone randomly while he was inside the house and the car is off.
So rather than him paying $1200 for them to fix it I offered we look for one at a scrap yard and swap it out ourselves. I just can't find info on where it's located on a 2015. Does anyone know where it is so we're not there at the scrap yard all day looking for this small black box?

The battery drian is a common thing with this car. I have had the Acuralink/Bluetooth module replaced by the dealer for a seperate issue and my car still eats batteries every 2 years.

Do you know where the module is in the car?

I believe it is in the roof instrument panel (lights etc.) to the right of the rear view mirror. But Acura should be able to fix that, they did with my 2007 TL.

I'm the one fixing it by replacing it, I'm just trying to save the cost of buying a service manual just so I can find out where the module is. I can't find any reliable info online about where the module is located in a 2015 or newer car. Once I find it it's as simple as plugging a new one in and we're done.

I know on the 3G TL the module was located behind the map light console/panel. Could try to look behind there? It's easily popped out,.

Sorry I don't know where it's is located. Dealer replaced it under warranty.
Since it was taken to a non Acura repair shop, you should double-check to make sure if the Acura link / Bluetooth module is suppose to be completely shut off.

finally I was able to find it, it’s above the glove box.
you would need to take out the entire glove box and its located on the left side.
