2015 TLX - where is hands free module located?
This is very difficult to search for because no matter what I type in on Google for TLX fifth gen I'm getting results about fourth gen TL cars with hands free module battery drain.
A friend of mine has a 2015 TLX and after his battery kept dying he went to a repair shop to do a battery drain test, they narrowed it down to the hands free/bluetooth module saying it isn't turning off and needs to be replaced. This backs up my friend saying that his car would connect to his phone randomly while he was inside the house and the car is off.
So rather than him paying $1200 for them to fix it I offered we look for one at a scrap yard and swap it out ourselves. I just can't find info on where it's located on a 2015. Does anyone know where it is so we're not there at the scrap yard all day looking for this small black box?

I'm the one fixing it by replacing it, I'm just trying to save the cost of buying a service manual just so I can find out where the module is. I can't find any reliable info online about where the module is located in a 2015 or newer car. Once I find it it's as simple as plugging a new one in and we're done.
Sorry I don't know where it's is located. Dealer replaced it under warranty.
Since it was taken to a non Acura repair shop, you should double-check to make sure if the Acura link / Bluetooth module is suppose to be completely shut off.
