Mystery oil leak....

Can someone help me identify this oil or Atf leak?

there seems to be an oil or Atf leaking down around the area of the green wire in the pic. So far it is not the oil pain gasket and don’t think it’s the valve cover gasket.... but it is dripping down this area.

what else can it be? I put dye in both the Atf and oil and I can’t seem to see anything visual

The 4G TL has electric power steering. Maybe you meant to say "Check your blinker fluid hose?"

Cleaned it up Again and drove it hard. Looks like a rear main seal.

what’s the easiest way to go on these? Drop subframe and trans?

might try a bottle of blue devil, just did the timing belt/water pump, oil pump and pan.

Hard pass on the Blue Devil, it won't do anything to your issue. Your problem will still be there, but with a very "temporary" Band-Aid. You can go up a viscosity level on your oil. Thicker oil will not seep past the seal.
In the end you will have to do the job, Acura might charge you anywhere from $1,300 to $1,700, where as Independent Honda techs might charge you $800 to $900.
Mine leaks but it doesn't have any significant effect on the oil level on the dip stick. It's been 3 weeks and I don't see any drop in that area, it's just a little damp and that's it.

I am curious about this too, as mine is leaking.
I am seeing the same thing, trans/transfer case out, support motor from the top, drop out the sub frame. My understanding there is an o-ring that goes bad under a cover with a gasket. I will be doing mine as soon as its warm outside.

Which O ring are you talking about? i have a mystery oil leak around the firewall side of the engine. it leaks onto the cat. i already did the valve cover gaskets, they're not leaking anymore.

From what i understand, there is a gasketed cover over the rear of the block covering the rear main seal, and some portion of that cover has an o-ring that seals an oil tube/passage that transverses the block.
