Oil Leak

My 96RL has an engine oil leak. I've cleaned the engine, put a marker in the oil and rechecked for leak location, and I think it is an oil pan gasket leak. Anybody know the shop flat rate for repairing this item?

Many times the oil pan gasket is the assumed culprit when it comes to oil leakage since only the pan appears to be very wet. However, keep in mind that any of the other oil seals could allow a trickle of oil to escape.

I find that the valve covers tend to leak more often and when they do, gravity pulls the oil down the block and it coats the lowest point of the engine, which is the oil pan.

If it's just the oil pan gasket, it shouldn't be that much. It's probably one of the easiest to replace.
