Estimated Time of Arrival?
Estimated Time of Arrival?
Does anyone know if there's a way to get the Nav system to display ETA instead of "To go"? There's nothing like having to do mental math while you're driving when you call a friend to say, "I'll be there at... (hm... clock says 6:16, I have 1:38 to go...) um... hold on... carry the 1... I'll be there at 7:54. See you then." Or worse yet, have your buddy do the math for you. The Garmin Nuvi's are quite good at calculating an ETA... it's simple math for the GPS to display this for you. Anyone have a solution? Thanks!
bumping this old thread...how can get the estimated arrival time on the Navi? I don't want 'time to destination'. WTH was Acura thinking by omitting this feature...every other car I have had with navi and every damn $100 Garmin has this feature!!!
I really am trying to like my new '12 TL..but these missing features is really making me feel that I made a bad choice
Please tell me there is a way to change this

Simple math could be calculated by any basic calculator. go google search simple math and you won't find any time calculation.
You can't calculate time with basic calculator. You don't learn time calculation first because it is not the simple math.
First math you learn is not time calculation. It is "simple math" which is basic + and -.
yes, it is simple math to us but to according to the text book or based on our education, time calculation is little advanced simple math.
Since we are grown men, let's end here. I dont want to argue here over this stupid topic.

you just cant seem to get it in your head that every 1:00 is an hour and any mins after that is added to the total
so if its 2:57, your driving 2 hours and 57 mins.. simple enough for you? then you add that to your current time which is 6pm.. then you get 8:57pm..
you see what i just did there?

and the fact that you even think you need a calculator for this surprises me..
