have you seen a 09 TL on the road other than yours yet?

I am a bullet proof tiger
Was traveling around the country last week, saw zero in the bay area, saw 2 on the southside of Indianapolis, and then saw my first CBP yesterday in San Diego.

I saw a SH-AWD in the parking lot of the Pentagon today. It was funny, since we parked about a row behind each other. The color was the Mayan Bronze Metallic. I assume they are praying like me to keep other drivers from hitting the doors (tight parking).

I've been seeing a TL parked in front of our Costco with another new car at lunch time. This Costco routinely has new cars parked in front as you go into the warehouse for displays from a local dealer.Funny thing is it's parked in front as I go in the warehouse (at lunch time mostly) then it's gone when I leave the warehouse a 1/2 hour later.
The vanishing TL has happened a couple of times this last month. I have seen both the WDB & BRP colors for the TL at Costco in Carlsbad CA.

I have seen quite a few 4G TLs in the San Diego area and I have to say that they really turn heads. I feel like my 06 TL is dated when compared to the 4G. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these beauties!

Ardenne90 thanks a million for making my day with you post! Have you been seen AWD's or FWD's because there is not one SH-AWD at Acura 101 as of today? It's really sad to see a lot full of beautiful cars with ugly rims.

I have only seen the FWD. The only time I saw a 4WD when I visited my dealer at DCH Acura, Temecula. Hoehn Acura in
Carlsbad is closer, but DCH has been providing me with top notch service over the past 3 years. Also, I know one of the sales guys there very well. I am just waiting to see how the cat jumps with the economy before pulling the trigger. I am settled on whether to go with the FWD or the AWD. I guess the test drives should easily solve that predicament.

Good luck wit it. There's isn't one AWD at Acura 101 in Calabasas, CA, and I haven't seen an AWD on the road since February in Socal. I saw two new TSX's this week. The grill is deceiving, you think it's a TL coming at you, but once it's close I get bummed out. A nice car but I don't like the back, too squarish. At least the rims are better looking than the FWD TL.

Hmm well I drive from Scripps Ranch down to Pt Loma every week day and have yet to see a 4G in months. I have seen one in a mall parking lot near where I live but it was FWD. Can't recall seeing any AWD's like mine.

Saw my 1st Borealis Blue Pearl on the road today other than my own.

Spotted one on the I15 the other day! FWD, white. For a minute I thought it was AWD but I caught up to it and saw a middle aged woman and it was just FWD. I have yet to see another AWD in the wild.

I made out with a Grigio FWD in a Woodland Hills parking lot. She was sexy, but my car is female too so it was my first lesbian encounter very exciting. I hope she wasn't scared of my sexy black lips?

i seen a white one tonight as i zipped past by an intersection, it was waiting for the signal to turn green, couldnt really tell if it was FWD/ or SH-AWD, but it defn' had a presence among the sea of cars it was surrounded by,, it also had the a-spec?/ skirt package slapped on it. As much as i hate to say it, the white 09 TL was defn' looking fierce, yes even the beak

Was the beak painted? I'm starting to like the painted grill and bumper in all colors now! By the way, I saw a FWD Polished Metal Metallic flying past me on the other side of the 101 fwy headed west yesterday, I flashed the high beams for acknowledgment, but he didn't flash back? :-(

Other then mine I see at least one a day. Usually 2 or 3 lately. It's funny, but I thought maybe I'm seeing the same cars over and over again so I haven't posted. This morning during a new bike ride route I saw 2 more.
I like seeing a few TLs, but I'm hoping they don't get as ubiquitous as the previous model.

saw two last weekend going North on 101 towards SFO Airport in the Bay Area. the first two that I've driven behind. They actually have a real nice backend, and i swear they make all other cars on the road look old and dated.

Oh, watch out! All pre-4Gers, comments to bmode@acurazine.com!
Gotta say, initially I was repelled by the exterior looks and was glad of the beautiful insides I saw when behind the wheel, which is THE place to be in the TL.
Now I am admiring the exterior artistry and am totally good with whatever I inhaled or soaked into my pores while I've been with this car.
Contemplating the total performance package, the word Advance comes to mind. Someone should run this past the marketing hacks.
