S2000, that's it! I change my opinion on you, your hillarious! Nice post!
Becky, so it's not just me flying around the 101fwy. I can't stop this car from flying, it just takes off all by itself. Someone was in the fast lane today going horribly slow and I whipped around them, then I realized they were already going 70? Ooops... I'm not usually a rude driver, but this TL is turning me into an speed asshole! I love the looks from 3G TL owners. I can see them maneuvering in my rear view mirror to get a glimpse of their inevitable future.

I saw my first yesterday on the freeway. Driven by older man. maybe in his 50s?

Just saw a Red Basque Pearl FWD today at about 12:30pm on my way to my dealer (Acura 101), on the 101FWY heading north. (well technically west) It had a Acura of Thousand Oaks dealer plate. It was also being driven by a 40 something year old lady who was going very slow in the #2 lane. I pulled up next to her and smiled but she didn't acknowledge? I hope she realized later that I was in TL too and not checking her out, but merely acknowledging her ride. For those who have never lived here, LA can be the most unfriendliest place at times! It's far and few to find someone kind for no reason. LOL.
Oh yeah, and I saw about six 3G TL's in about an hour. One was silver with black rims, and it looked great, even with rain water all over it.

interesting thread . . . because of course the 3G's are all over the place. I got a 09 tech in December and only this past weekend did I see another 09, an AWD, on the road, a black (what ever it's called) one. Looked pretty sharp!

Well, I finally saw my first new TL on the road yesterday. I was on the way to Rick Case Honda in Davie, FL to pick up my wife's new 09 Odyssey. As I passed cutoff to MIA on the FL turnpike, a NBP TL passed by me and took the cutoff. I was taken aback about how ugly the rear end looked. I actually thought it wasn't too bad until seeing it on the road. I guess it's going to take a little bit longer to grow on me.

I saw a 4th generation TL SH-AWD in Polished Metal Metallic on Rt.30 near Lancaster, Pennsylvania about two weeks ago...that's the only one I've seen.

No flakes but little silver/white sparklies. It's actually starting to annoy me because it looks like dust in direct sunlight. Acura really should consider using a better paint finish for the CBP. I was talking with the Acura service dept. about the paint earlier this week, and I told him no one washes my car ever again, and we started talking about the exterior maintenance. He stated the paint is rather thin and you can easily go through the coats when detailing. I'm no expert, but precautions will be taken, I'll take his word for it.

my NBP never saw a car wash until the very end - just b4 I traded it - black just shows EVERY imperfection in the paint - most that you wouldn't even notice w/ other colors.
I don't know what you call the specks in the paint the NBP's were blue flakes/sparkleis/specks - had to have just the right light to even see em though
bmode ck out the wash / wax section of acurazine for tips on keeping that black pearl sharp.

I did. Those guys are on it. There's a couple of "yahoo's" but mostly great tips to keep it Jiggy. I'm even looking into a UDM as this is getting addicting. I actually washed my car at 9pm the
I saw a Black 09 TL today coming home from a job around 4:30pm, it exited at White Oak off the 101fwy north bound. Dr. Evil was that yours? I couldn't see it well, but back deck had a lip with tinted windows too. I couldn't see the driver or the rims as traffic was thick.

I've begun seeing more and more of the 4G on the roads here in Vancouver. I honestly don't know why everyone was dissing its looks at the beginning. It's a handsome looking car and, best of all, it looks expensive. Haha...

I've seen a total of four since late December; two in DFW and two in Illinois. The looks have started to grow on me and I think it would be a pretty decent looking car if it had the same plenum as the TSX.

Right about the paint being thin....my CBP has tons of fine scratches and spider-webbing after just a few months. The brutal Chicago winter hasn't helped any either.

I have only seen 1 maybe 2
at 1st rapid/almost missed it glance the new TSX almost makes you think it was a TL you just saw (tsx from the front at a certain angle)
2nd what color was the TL you saw?
3rd what color is your car?
4 was it a fwd or SH?
service writer said you can recognize the tech tls by the rear spoiler as has the rear view camera
so
5 tech or not?
6 last what part of the country?

It was a silver. Ugly as fuc.k.
Mine is black, but not stinky ugly 4th gen Acura.
Couldn't tell, cause I couldn't stand keep looking at it. I almost threw up.
Why did you guys buy the 4th gen TL? Are ya crazy or something. That car is ugly.

Yesterday afternoon in Rockville, Maryland, when I left my office, on the way to I-270 exit 6, I saw 3 09 TLs (all non-SHAWD, black, silver and white) at the same time. I guess 09 TL are more popular in DC area now.

I saw six 4Gs in new rochelle and the bronx on Monday alone. I work in New rochelle, and I own a 3g, two of the guys followed me. But There were three black and three silver. I'm liking it the more I see it. I might trade up for an SH AWD tech. Still thinking about it tho. I acutally like my interior in my 3g, but like the features and upgrades on the 4G/.

I loved my 3G too, but there's nothing like a new TL and the 4G is loaded with new goodies. However, take in consideration that a few things have changed. No more hands free link speak and dial (at least at this time), meaning you used to be able to his the Voice button and say dial 555-1212, you now have to use the Nav screen on tech models. They changed from Alpine to Pioneer and left out a few goodies that we had in the 3G, it's not a deal breaker for me, just be aware they didn't make the transition smoothly as I hoped.
