And I'm positive DrEvil777 works in Burbank! I saw a new TL Sh-Awd with painted grill in the parking garage on a doctor's office I was visiting. Looked great with the chrome blackened.
Beckyboo, the give away is that I park in the reserved doctor's parking! One of the few perks left...

I've seen nine 4G TLs here in the DC area (yes, I've counted). I've been seeing them more and more within the last month. Also, I see at least 1 2G TSX everyday.

S2000, that's it! I change my opinion on you, your hillarious! Nice post!

Becky, so it's not just me flying around the 101fwy. I can't stop this car from flying, it just takes off all by itself. Someone was in the fast lane today going horribly slow and I whipped around them, then I realized they were already going 70? Ooops... I'm not usually a rude driver, but this TL is turning me into an speed asshole! I love the looks from 3G TL owners. I can see them maneuvering in my rear view mirror to get a glimpse of their inevitable future.

I love coming up behind a 3G and flashing the brights. They slide over and I blow past. I just grin and keep going!

Well if you get enough traction off the line, and can keep that Type-S from sliding off on the twists, then maybe.. but otherwise, beckyboo may be seeing you in the rear view.

Saw my second one this morning. It looked like it got stuck in the snow on the off ramp at 540/Six Forks Road.

Some other cars got stuck at the top & forced everyone else to stop, then none could regain traction & get up the hill.

I drove around them on the grass but was not able to help since I did not have my tow strap.

No tow line on a snowy day in the Sunny South my bad, DUH

No offense to a fellow 4G owner, but doing something like that to another driver on the road is just plain immature. If you want to pass someone, turn on your signals and just go around him/her........don't be a jerk.

it's illegal to pass on the right, so she has to blink her lights to have them move to the slow lane otherwise she would just pass them to the left.

Of course, if we had better drivers in the U.S., drivers would stay the hell out of the passing lane unless they are passing.

What a concept!

I find most drivers in Europe are better at staying in the proper lane.

Driving in LA is like no other place...No rules, no courtesy, just idiots doing whatever. Riding a motorcycle on the freeway is tantamount to Russian roulette.
I just like seeing the 3G owners smile, wave and give me a in traffic.

You're absolutely right....This is what I hated about living in LA several years ago.....the drivers there are some of the absolute worst in the country!

Late one night when I was driving on I-405 towards the Valley, I was tailgated by some obnoxious moron in a M3, I was in the middle lane doing 85mph and he was only a few inches from my rear bumper.....he was flashing his hi-beams mercilessly....the lanes to the right and left of me were clear but this idiot was only looking to cause trouble. He flashed and tailgated me for the next 10 miles even after switching lanes! No wonder LA drivers carry guns!

That's why I love my TL, just drive home in traffic, make calls, listen to the amazing stereo! When I first moved here, my partner told me to skip the porsche and get a car with a comfy seat and a great stereo as I would spend over one hour a day sitting in traffic!

DrEvil777, I spend several hours a day driving for work and the TL is just great. I love it. And the fact that my company pays a car stipend and mileage allowance, I get my TL for free! Hate the traffic here, but love my car.

BTW, are you in the 201 building?

I have to agree with my fellow So Cal'ers. I've driven in quite a few states in the US, and LA is up there as the worst drivers. It's way too easy to get a CA drivers lic. You can see some of them that just don't know how to drive, foreign or not, but the ones that piss me off are the ones who just don't care! LA is the place for the I don't give a shit about anyone mentality, similar to NY.

That does sound kind of rude Becky, but I know what you mean. LOL we're passing this guy with stock cars, and he's talking about superchargers and stuff, well jeez? I love passing older TL's too, as my old car looks so small now, have you guys noticed how many are in the Valley now? I see at least 4 a day. It's the new honda accord wave all over again!

My post meant no rudeness...But anyone who drives in LA will relate to coming up on someone in the fast lane just driving slowly when there is no real traffic. I catch many TL owners just loafing in the fast(er) lane when I'm out driving early or late. Most are very courteous and move over when someone comes up behind them.

I do know how to push hard on the gas pedal when needed, I just love seeing the older TL's and getting that "Honda wave" when I pass them!

Yesterday I was driving down a small street and saw a 2009 Acura grill coming toward me. Finallly, my first TL sighting in Mass besides mine! The car was filthy, covered with road salt and dirt. Its snowed every three days lately. As we passed I flashed the lights and waved. When we got close I got a better look at the exterior color behind the road salt - it was beige. Alas, it was an RL. The driver was an attractive blond woman, probably in her 30s. At least she smiled.

So far, I've seen three 4Gs on the road. They were all black.

I wonder if it was the same one on all three occasions.

I saw a Black FWD near the Burlington Mall in Mass. Only my 2nd sighting so far. It was a family with a baby strapped in the back. I didn't have my car but my friend teased me and said, "Why don't you go talk to him about your plenums." He just wishes he had one.

Meanwhile I saw fourteen 3G's in the last three days in a 24 mile square radius. Nine driven by women, but no TL sightings.

As I mentioned in the "where are the 2009 TL's" I purchased mine on 9/27 and I have yet to see one TL in Chicago's Western Suburbs. I thought I might at least see Pete'sTL. I'm in Elmhurst and purchased from Napleton.

Hey, if you can throw in the gender of driver next time, I'm really curious, as I think most of the 3G men drivers gave their cars to the wives. It sure seems that way in Cali.

I saw a White FWD TL today right by Acura 101 on the Fwy. It was driven by a male about 35-45, probably one of the sales persons, because he was wearing a blazer.
