Dent in Door Panel

I tend to rest my left arm on the top part of the door panel when driving. Unfortunately this has led to a permanent dent as seen below.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it would be covered under warranty? I know it's not a major issue but with my warranty expiring within the year I'm trying to keep track of everything I want to get taken care of.

there is a high chance that you wont get that covered.. simply due to that it this is done by driver.. you can try, i doubt it though.

I have that on my car as well. I think my dent is worse than that.

you can try=I was lucky as the dealer did replace mine as a goodwill. It technally is not a warranty issue.

Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear I'm not the first to experience this and that at least someone had it covered under warranty. My local dealer is top notch so hopefully it won't be an issue. The harder part will be finding a new and comfortable way to drive, haha.

I guess that's the price we pay to have slightly nicer interior materials...pretty sure my wife's Pilot is just a lot of plastic inside.

I have exactly the same thing, but my car is so far out of warranty, there's no way in hell they will fix it.

Same here. Mine's a bit deeper than yours too. Honestly I don't really care that it's there.

Damn, seems to be a common problem. I'm not really too worried about it either but if I could get it covered under warranty then I will.
