3G TL's and Type S' still FTW...let's hope the interior looks better than the exterior. To me, it doesn't seem to have that "sports sedan" look and feel anymore. Maybe more luxury sedan, but half the fun is the "sports" part of the sedan look.

Wow! I am really liking it now. I am going to have to see it in person, but I am definitely intrigued enough to take an "AFTER HOURS" look at the local dealership when they arrive.

Not feeling it... Looks too tamed and not as agressive and sporty as the 3G, which is what attracted me to the 3G over the G35 and other luxury sport sedans in the first place. I think I'll stick with my 3G for a few more years then buy something from another brand, unless this 4th gen ends up looking way better in person.

...I keep looking and looking.... I like the stance, lines, shoes - overall nice job. However, I keep asking myself, why such a hideous branding statement with these grilles? My eyes can't seem to stay on the rest of the car long enough to appreciate it. That big slab of brushed plastic is a big downer for me - too hideous, too prominent.

I'm sorry have to add that this 4th generation is HOT to death. Who ever does not like this look is crazy. It is a beautiful UPGRADE from the 3rd generation. Side by side comparision is like a 4year improvement sorry 3 gen and type-s ers. This is exacting what everone wanted and expected from the 2009, SH-awd, more than 300hp, and very fresh look. Everyone put these 3 things on their 2009 wish list and see christmas is early and this isn't even the TYPE S. Can't wait to see the interior. Thanks Acura! THIS car is an advanced vision of the A-SPEC CONCEPT (and actucally looks like an CONCEPT CAR)with those beatiful red seats(PLEASE MAKE THOSE optional, AUDI STOLE THEM FROM ACURA IN THE S5). To end this thanks for those inspiring color photoshops and the beautiful chop by charlie 209, add mesh in the lower bumper inlets, outlined black housing headlights like tsx(JDM look), shadowline window frame, Blue/black leather interior and blue calipers PERIOD

Wow! Definitely an improvement over the C&D photoshop. I wonder what the exhaust outlets will look like on the base and on the SH-AWD models. I just hope the interior won't be as busy looking as the new TSX.

Different look and the front grille isn't all that bad. Does anybody remember the previous 5 series sedan before the current model came out. People panned the new 5 series as a dud and the whole Bangle saga. Well they sell like hotcakes still and it hasn't stopped BMW. This won't stop sales on the TL, only increase them.....
I think this is a great direction for Acura. They'll fix the grille on the 2010/2011 RL and continue to evolve the new "look" across all the cars/SUV's.
Give it a chance. I saw a 2009 TSX next to a 2009 BMW 328i coupe. The TSX grille makes it look more appealing...just a perception.
