I like it, the grille isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but still takes away from the car... I have zero skill with photoshop, but maybe someone who does can make the grille match the body color, I think it would look much better if it were painted.

I believe the above poster, Carlos9827, was referring to the Infiniti Q45 when he asked if they're still making "that thing." And the answer is no, they aren't currently making the Q45. 2006 was the last model year for it and there are talks of them bringing it back in a year or two... but that remains to be seen so far.

Not feeling it at all!!

I don't understand why they have to keep making the front so busy. They have slowly taken the nice look of the '04-'06 and ruined it. I hated the '07-'08 front too.

After having a chance to see that grille in person on the TSX, I've determined the pics actually don't do it justice. It looks good. Now awaiting specs on the car...

Only thing that doesn't flow on the TSX is the bulge on the headlamps... which is not on the TL.

Even the RL looks a lot better in person than in pictures. This will be one mean looking car in person. Can't wait to see the rear. The D-pillar looks very GS from this angle but I bet it looks a lot different from the back. The GS is boring as all heck but the TL should look mean with the quad pipes on the SH-AWD model.

It appears the wheels have been designed to accommodate a wider tire to protect against curbing, based on the sidewall bulge that I see. Sweet!

I have to admit, i kind of like it, compared to the RL, i like it much better. The TSX with the Aspec kit also looks better than the RL, but i have yet to see the RL in person, so we'll actually see, so far this doesn't look that bad!

Did it say anywhere if the car pictured was the Standard model, or the SH-AWD model? I read through the press release, but I didn't see.

I knew people who love the rims, I said that a while back, also with the relatively small headlights (with respect to the front) and the metal strip on the roofline of the car...pretty much what I had seen about 3 months ago....its just nice to see it finally being out I think its looks good, I am sure it will look even nicer in person.

I must agree that this car does not look as sporty as the previous generation though, maybe its because it appears taller unlike the previous generation that looked meaner because of height/width ratio....this car sure alot more elagant...richer I guess...

That single pic from Acura has me pleasantly surprised. I hope the rear looks as good.

That grille begs to be painted body color, something like this:

Maybe a little silver trim around the edges would do the trick.

I agree, body colored grill would be much better, esp on the darker colors. It would make the grill less "LOOK AT ME"

What metal strip? The silver looking thing at the top is the lighting on the roof, reflecting off the sunroof... is that what you were talking about?

I think this grill will look really nice once a modder with some skillz gets ahold of it (like darksom1).

Remove the top middle Metal Grill Peice, Body Color or CF the rap around section, add some fine mesh in place of the stock mesh to the upper and lower grills, leave the "A" in the upper center.

Voila, beautiful custom grill.

One thing I don't quite like is how the fogs and the turning lamps in the bumper aren't the same size/ shape...if the fogs could have been rectangle like the turning lamps, that would make a big difference. Not a deal breaker, just something I noticed.

There is a metal strip along the edge of the roof; where the doors meet the roof.

yup I was referring to the Q45. I actually went on Infiniti.com right after the post and realized they didn't even show it on there so i figured it had been discontinued. The Q45 had really bad sales I guess so its understandable....

I wouldn't exactly call that the roofline... especially because it's trim that runs all the way around the windows... but yes, that could be what the poster was implying.

The MDX & refreshed RL both have 300hp engines & the SH-AWD has been rumored to get like ~310hp. So it will be the most powerful ever in an Acura but I do not think that it is going to be anything to drool over ...

I think it's pretty darned hot; too bad I can't afford one.

Mebbe not the right place for this but in regards to the lights... I see:

Side marker/running light next to the projection housing; hopefully DRLs next to that and not halogen hi-beams [it would be stupid to move away from Bi-Xenons], then blinkers/running lights and fog lights on the bottom?
