^ Exactly why I would never buy Muteki SR 48 lugs again. My cheapo ebay ones work just fine with no stripping or rust . I always wonder why people even put wheel locks on these wheels. We all know wheel locks don't really stop thieves from taking wheels and for what these wheels are worth, your insurance will pay out much more than that. Just saying
Edit: Jayvee, do it right and get some Type-S center caps.

my mistake i don't have the sr35, i have some muteki ebay locking lugs (closed spline) and those fit with the keys (keys are 21 mm in diameter).
the locks for sr35 are 24 mm in dia. and the locks for sr48 are 26 mm in dia. so according to ebelp the 26 mm is too big and i know the 21 is small enough...question is if 24 (sr35) would fit. if i can find some locally i'll try it and return them if not, just need to find a place to buy them

The missing tire will be delivered tomorrow. It was out of stock and needed to be drop shipped from NITTO.

OK, so after talking with John some this morning it is clear as day with no doubt!!! The socket that comes with the SR48's WILL NOT WORK with the XXR 530's with 5 holes or 10 holes. UNLESS!!! You don't mind shaving, scratching, damaging the inner walls to each lug hole. To avoid this, you will need a "THIN" wall 17mm socket. And still!!! You would need to be very very careful since it only frees up a hair of a spacing gap to work with.
This morning I also put together a small demo of this popular talked about issue. I carefully cut the bottom of the SR48 pkg and removed ONLY the socket. Then I took the socket from my DRAG NEO CHROMES for comparison purposes only. Below is some examples w/pics with the differences and space I believe I/we will have when using a thinner wall socket. Not 100% for sure since I have not left to go buy one. I only used what I have laying around and there is a difference.
SR48 Socket fitment:
Fitment with both sockets: SR48 (left/dark in color) DRAG (right/silver)
DRAG socket removed to show a example of the limited space to work with and a lug in place:
2 different designs of sockets but still showing the difference in thickness:
...HOPE THIS HELPS SOME

I would be able to mount if I had my TMPS's and if I use the NEO CHROME lugs. Other then that, my options are as follow if using the SR48's. ~ #1 Grind down the outter wall of my exsisting SR48 socket (I have a friend who did his and just told me about it at advance auto parts. He had the same issue with his wheels) or... #2 Order through TIRE RACK their GORILLA thin wall 17mm deep sockets specifically made for this issue and purpose, since I am waiting for my sensors anyways.

i got my wheels installed with 235/40 tires on Friday and it looks great but I'm having some issues going over dips in the road or bumps. one of my tires def makes a bad scraping sound anyone else have this problem?
i'm stock height which is why the rubbing surprised me but soon putting on springs and getting an alignment. maybe i'll just have to roll fenders to eliminate any doubt. these wheels with the +20 definitely stick out just a bit more than i was hoping in the front

they are 8.75" +20 all the way around. they do stick out a little bit but not that much (the gap makes it seem worst for sure). once i lower i will post pics. some other members are running the same set up and their wheels came in a bit from the negative camber

Hey was up man...I know I know...Me to. I am going through a few things here and there that are preventing me from doing so.
1.) Seems like I am having a TMPS sensor issue on a set I just purchased. They may work just fine, but on a physical aspect, it seems like one of the screw on sleeves that screw on the outside of the valve stem itself is a lil ate up and does not screw all they way down to the rubber washers.
2.) When I figure out the TMPS issue out, I then will install the TMPS and tires to the wheels. But not mout the tires until I get my INGALL camber kits installed. Which is "Planned" on Thursday... "Planned" was they key word...Normally does not happen the way I plan
3.) And just as I mentioned about plans not working out, I may need to travel to the Orlando area to seal a deal with lilsid for a JL HD900-5 amp...
...By the time I am ready and clear to mount these wheels and tires...I will want something NEW...lol!

I have been looking at this rims for few months now and making a decision to go for the 18 x 8.75 at 20 offset. I saw a accord with XXR 527 and to my liking they stick out to much, does anyone know if they are really that similar?

^^^ Dennis...to save the rims, I put some athletic tape on the lug nut removal tool....and to save the lugs from the removal tool, I recently learned from Aaron, to put a plastic bag between the lugs and the lug nut removal tool....

if that link doesn't work try post #465 in this thread, it has the clickable link (i copied and pasted the "abbreviated link" from that post since ebay is blocked at my work)
i also contacted that seller and instead of making them a lower offer on ebay i asked if they would throw in an extra key for the buy it now price and they did
