Using red text in that context implies that you do, in fact, do many many dirty drugs!

So...when are your new XXR's coming in?

i was going to ask firestone to set my alignment at -0.5 front camber and -1.0 rear camber for a spring drop...couldn't find anything solid going through the threads, anyone seeing anything wrong with this setup?

Honestly, that's probably pretty close to what it's set at from factory.
When I was on set at the recommended TEIN height (similar to low springs), I ran no camber kits and my tire wear was minimal. Get that toe in line and you'll be good. I ended up at -1 front and about -2 rear.

yea i'll def get the toe close to zero, since i know that mattres most, but i also picked up a camber kit from marcus today (nice to live somewhat local) just to put my mind at ease.

deathmetal highly highly recommended a camber kit even with springs and i decided to get them to keep away most doubt about wear. i'll talk with the firestone guys and if they seem knowledgeable i'll see what they think...

Nice!! Can't wait to see them up. My install is still a few days away since the UPS guy damaged a second wheel delivering them (one of the originals and then the replacement)...so frustrated!

Wow... that blows chunks. My UPS guy is fkn awesome! He literally knows my schedule and delivers to us accordingly. And if he doesn't see us home he comes back later at the end his route and sorts of quirks like that.

That is key, our guy is completely opposite. When I got married 3 months ago we literally saw him throw our wedding presents up our apartment stairs and every single package had to be replaced locally at stores

You'll have to let us know how the lugs fit. I have the SR48's also, but the "thin" socket adapter they supply is too thick and rubs against the wheel sockets. Not sure if you'll have the same issue since you don't have the universal lug holes like I do.

Thanks for letting me know of the issue a head so I could be aware of the possible problem. I will let u know in return I may just have to do these by hand...

he means the actual lug socket is too tight to fit your lug hole...by hand, or by gun would be the same.

you might need some lugs that have the inner adapter...

No, I knew exactly what he said... I just failed to realize as I responded the socket is lug specific (key) and I wouldn't be able to find another socket with a thin wall to work by hand since the pattern is different...My bad

FYI, I've tried other thin-walled sockets on my SR48's and they still aren't thin enough to avoid rubbing against the finish of the wheels. Different lugs is the only solution.

yea i like the lugs you guys have best but i had to go security over looks, even though these wheels aren't that expensive. i got the muteki sr35 i believe it's called, it's a spline lock on all 20 lugs and they have the titanium chrome color. i test fit them on my wheels and the locks and the key fit in the holes

^Oh you can get them on no problem, but you'll rub off all the paint on the inside of each log hole socket. The Muteki socket adapter just makes very slight contact with the wheel, so it'll spin, but not without some friction.

that sucks...and it seems you are as picky as me where this will bother u also.

Side Note: I just removed one center cap to send a pic to MONDO and they are really not that bad and bulky as I expected or assumed them to be. They are actually pretty workable as in terms to place a wrapped design or logo of some sort in place of the XXR brand name logo.., So even if I don't score some tls caps I am not at a complete loss.

^ Exactly why I would never buy Muteki SR 48 lugs again. My cheapo ebay ones work just fine with no stripping or rust . I always wonder why people even put wheel locks on these wheels. We all know wheel locks don't really stop thieves from taking wheels and for what these wheels are worth, your insurance will pay out much more than that. Just saying

Edit: Jayvee, do it right and get some Type-S center caps.
