TPMS slow leak help replace sensor or valve??

Hey guys, so for the last couple of months Ive been noticing my PSI dropping on my 06 TL. I have to put air in the front driver side tire and rear passenger side tire about every 3 days. I top it at 35psi (cold) and then it goes down to about 28psi 3-4 days later and the MID shows low tire pressure, while the other 2 tires hold their pressure fine. Recently coming from a 2ng Gen TL this TPMS thing is pretty new to me. Keep in mind I replaced my old set of tires with a new set last October but issue still persists on the new set as well.

Some research online recommended to tighten the 11m nut on the outer rim, which I did I felt the nut had some free play so I tightened it by hand until it felt snug, Well that didn't work because now I'm leaking air faster than I was before (quite possible I may have overtightened them)! My question is, Im planning to purchase all new valve stems with grommet, seals and valve with cap that's sold through acuraoemparts.com, although IF there's a possible leak can it also be coming from the valve and components itself or can the sensor itself (mounted inside the rim) be defective that can cause a slow leak?

If valves are replaced and leak still persists is it safe to say the sensor itself has gone south? I've already had my tire shop inspect all 4 tires for any punctures, leaks or defect but all tires are clean and free of any leaks. We also submerged the 2 leaking tires is water but no bubbles appeared from any of them the tires are fairly new as well. Any help on this matter would be appreciated, I'd rather spend the 11$ a piece for the new valves vs the 45$ for new units!

The only thing on the tpms that might leak is from the rubber seal. The nut and cap don't wear out. You can buy tpms rebuild kits ay autozone for like $3 and just use the new seal from it.
That being said I still think the chances of a leak from a tire is greater than the tpms. I would do another inspection if I were you. If the shop that inspected it put the wheel in a tank of water, there should have been bubbles from the tpms. But since they didn't find anything they may not have looked hard enough around the tire

Thanks for confirming that paperboy. I've purchased the valve kits since I believe they are the OEM ones, Ill have the tire shop install them with the OEM sensors. Good to know the sensors themselves aernt capable of any leaks!

I am having the same problem. We have the Type S 2007 model wheel and they SAY I have a "rim leak". They say it is from pitting at the rim bead but I do not understand that. Some wheel shops have confirmed it though. Took back 3 times to wheel shop and had them clean the rim pitting better and now it holds air.

They do become pitted, so wheel should be sanded at bead to make smooth, then use sealant and reinstall the tire.

Remove the sensor, clean the rubber and seal with some sort of bead sealer
