very nice.. for some reason i thought the S-techs sat a lot lower...
Spacers are on my radar as well, just trying to pace myself. I dont want to take any chances rubbing so i may just do 10MM in the back and possibly 5MM in the front...

THANKS TIGGAMAN! I really really appreciate you taking those pics man.
That is what I was looking for! They look pretty beefy compared to the stock 235, 17's.... I like they way the look. Now i just need to decide on a good tire for my area. I dont want something that is going to be noisy or harsh riding and I dont want something that is going to be like 4 snow plows in the winter either...LOL I was thinking of the Conti DSW's but i am not sold on them just yet. I will defiantly go with the 245/35/19 though

I've heard great things about the DSW's... so good that they are in short supply... I went Goodyear Eagle GT's, this is actually my 2nd set. I have them on stockers as well. Very good all-season tire, great dry/wet traction and pretty good snow traction although we dont get much of that down here in Dallas. Pretty quiet as well.
If you want budget friendly go with General UHP, they also recieved some pretty good reviews.
Good luck, I know you'll be very happy with the outcome!

So I got my RDX rims put on this weekend and I am very happy with the results. I went with the 245/35/19 inch tires. I have noticed now that my MPG has went from 22 mpg and is now reading 17mpg. has anyone else experienced this reading on there trip mpg indicator? I am pretty sure this is wrong. I called the stealership and they said there is noway to calibrate for larger tires although they are not much bigger than stock but the mpg thing is bugging me. Any insight would be appreciated.
Has anyone noticed a real drop in gas mileage?

Which tires did you go with? I have 245/35-19 Conti Extreme DWS, and my MPG is still averaging the exact same as when I had RE960AS on stockers.

I have not noticed anything drastic.... are you sure the MID is correctly reading the MPG's?? You may want to have that reset and start with a fresh reading

I noticed a drop in mileage as referenced way back on like page 3. The heavier wheels (by about 5 lbs) take more RPMs to get going so acceleration is slower. Other people have commented that they didn't experience this, but for me I definitely can feel it. This is my best estimate of why the MPGs dropped. For me I went from a daily average of 23-24 to 20-21. With stock wheels, if I reset the trip on HWY going 70, i could get 30-31. When I did the same this weekend, I got 27. Still worth it though. I've had them on 3 months and just yesterday a random guy at the bank asked me if they were A-Spec and said they looked good. They have survived a few decent size potholes too, to my surprise given the 35's. The only thing they didnt survive is when I caught the corner of a curb pulling into my driveway . It's a very small chip, but you know it bugs the hell out of me

lol, i thought about it, but i think the all red tails look so much more cleaner, classier, more timeless. Was never a fan of the type S tails... No disrespect to the type S guys, just not my thing....
kinda remind me of the cheesy altezza tails..

That makes sense. But in my opinion they add dimension to the vehicle and that dimension would look great with the color of your car (and a-spec kit...etc) By any chance, did you purchase your exhaust tips here -> http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/dual-exhaust-tips.html

As for the tips, they'll tach them onto whatever position you like. It took us about 5 or 6 tries until i was happy with the position and then the guy just completed the weld. I was in and out of their in about an hour.

I have a 5AT and my next mod will definitely be some spacers.

These wheels are only 8" wide so you really cant go any wider then a 245 series tire. Well you can, its just not recommended. I would go 245/35 or 235/35 if your looking to save a few $$$...
