It's all personal preference. I didn't think they looked bad as 18's on JD's car...aside from being 18's. I think in 19 they would be perfect. And wait until the LE30's come out (it's only a matter of time, just as it was that they would come out with 19's).

Oh, and here's some info for you guys...the RE30 is now offered in 19's...don't know what they weigh, but at 16.2 lbs for 18X8, 19X8 is still probably pretty damn light.
Jack you're gettin me all warm inside...i have an inkling you're going to order some Volks. First you want to know my specs and now you've gone an bumped this thread!! So whats it gonna be man?...19inch RE's? bronze perhaps?

I don't know what you're talking about, I swear! I'm just gathering information, you know the old saying "The more you know..."...no telling where it will all end

Speak for yourself. 19" volk re30 would look so dope on a TL.

In Diamond Black too.

I currently have an 08 Type-S with stock wheels, I really like the Volk Wheels. I had some on a previous car and really was impressed with the quality. But I have some concerns about the tire press monitor.

Does any one have a pic of the sensor?

I had a some wheels before and had tabs welded in the center. that worked great, I wanted to see if these could be mounted the same. A pic would be great!

Thanks

Dan

I think 18's look the best. 19's would give the car too much of a blinged look (chrome or not), but 18's I think give the car the nice little tuner look.

Nope

19's are perfect. I had 20's and I thought they looked perfect but the ride was shit. Since I got my Volks in 19 and lowered the car 19's can't be beat. I should know. I have had the 17 stockies.......then 18 A-Spec Gunmetals.........then 20's.........now my 19 Volks. all in the course of 2 years.

it's funny...my friend has a Lexus IS350 and it also has the TPMS on it. he got tired of it, so when he got after market wheels, he took them all out, took a PVC pipe, sealed it on both ends, took all the sensors dropped them inside. used a valve stem and drilled a hole...pressurized the pipe to 40psi...and threw it in the trunk...lol...works like a charm

Thanks for the picture! Thats the same looking sensors that I had on a Lexus, I welded tabs to the inside of the wheel, it worked perfect. I have never been that big on the straps we had some on a corvette that didn't work so well. It could of been USER error but if I can come up with a way to weld tabs I would like to.

I just need to know if the the 2008 sensors are the same as your car, I don't know what year you have but I have to imagine they are the same?

Thanks again

Dan

Mine's a 2006, I don't know if they are the same. Look in this thread, I believe someone had wheels installed where the valve stem had a sensor mount added to it. Maybe somebody can point you to the post.
