Perhaps the torque converter is failing, or worse, tranny clutch packs are failing

you gotta figure out if it's the torque converter...replace it...

or if it's the tranny...replace it with an AV6.

the torque convertor would be the easier and cheaper fix. hoping it's just the torque convertor.

^why not follow the service manual that CSMEANCE posted?
follow that trouble shooting sequence to figure out if it's the torque convertor...

a 3x3x3 drain and refill wont magically make the engine light go away...there's something wrong with either the clutch packs or the torque convertor.
