Overhead LED problem

Hello all, new to the forum. I recently purchased a 07 white diamond type s. I though I would start off by switching out some lights with LED's. so far I've swapped the license plate / both front door lights / front overhead. My problem came when I inserted the rear 2 overhead LED. When I did so my front two began to pulse every second or so. Does any have any idea why this would be? Are the front and back the sme bulb?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to participating in this forum.

If by "sme bulb" you mean "same bulb", then yes, the front and back uses the same bulb. However, I never experienced your problem. You could try swapping the front and back LEDs and seeing if the problem persists.

Hmm maybe I'm using the wrong replacement bulbs. I'm using the same as the doors and license plate?

Yeah, doors, license plate, front dome, rear dome, vanity, and trunk share the same bulb. For LEDs, they'll be under type 194 or 168.

I played with it again tonight and when I have the front 2 overhead with LED it works fine. When I put 1 LED in the Back and have 1 standard bulb it works fine. Its when I pull the final standard bulb that I have problems. This is what it looks like when I have all 4 LED installed or when I have only the front 2 install and no bulbs installed in the back.

By none of the lights being on, you mean none of the lights have been pressed, but the light switch in the center has been switched to ON mode, yes?

This is my understanding of the matter.

1. You have your conventional lights installed. They are all off. The door is closed.
2. You start replacing them one by one with your LEDs that you bought.
3. Immediately, once the 4th one is installed, the front two start blinking like in the video?

Also, which setting are the lights on? ON-OFF-DOOR

Apologies for the mini thread revival, but I haven't had the time to hop on here.

If it's doing this on DOOR mode while the door is closed, then your MICU is acting up, since the LEDs will be regulated by the MICU. My question is whether you did the mods with the interior light fuse (fuse #6) pulled out or not? You can try restarting the MICU by disconnecting the battery for 20 seconds and triggering on the headlights to force any residual charge out of the system, but you'll have to let the car idle for about 10 minutes to allow the ECU to re-learn itself.
