Lights messed up after trying to upgrade 7443 LED turn signal bulbs

I installed 7443 LED in my front turn signals several years ago with a resistor on the line for each side. The rear turn signals are LEDs as well. Recently one of the front LEDs gave out and the parking light stopped working, while the turn signal was okay. I bought some 7443-AW60-SA: Amber White from SuperBrightLEDs to replace my old LEDs. When I did, my lights went haywire, with all the lights inside the dash flashing with the turn signal, it was nuts. I put the old bulbs back in but now my rear left turn signal just stays on none of the turn signals or parking lights up front work. Luckily the headlights are fine. Inside in the dash, I have a steady light on for the left turn signal. What the heck happened????

Check your resistors. Also I would look into the turn signal relay resistor mod over adding those in line resistors . If you're not comfortable with soldering yourself you can send me yours and I can solder for you and send it back, done it for a couple members already.

OK, thanks for the offer. For now, how do I check, though? I have a tester, but not sure what to look for on the resistor.

Honestly my guess is it's just faulty and is shorting.. I'd remove it altogether to test.

I called them and they said the bulbs are polarity-sensitive. So all I had to do is flip them around and it worked. Problem solved! Thanks for the responses.
