In the middle of debading, need help

I've got the Acura and tl words off and all the glue off but I can't seem to clean the outline stains off. Goo gone isn't removing them so this is where I'm stuck at.

Any suggestions???

if you have a clay bar I would try that, it should get the rest off.

i just did mine over the weekend and had to use a ton of goo-gone, elbow grease, and a very sharp clean razor blade. worked like a charm. can you feel the stain with your fingernails?

be careful with that blade tho...soak the are with the goo-gone, then grab the blade. hair dryer helps too.

nice look awesome, i tried to remove my emblems one didn't turn out to well so i ended up buying new ones lol.

took me maybe 15 minutes for everything

slid fishing line behind the emblems to get them off, just used my fingers and goo gone to get all the glue off and the clay bar took car of the outlines in no time

hopefully if it doesnt rain this weekend im going to clay bar the entire car

wd-40 works wonders, soak a piece of cloth and dab it on the gohost letters. Let it satutate for 15 seconds, and use some elbow power to take it off. Then finish it off w/ a layer of wax finish. THE PAINT WILL NOT BE DAMAGED.

can someone explain please why this fad is popular? i'm not trolling but i bought my RSX Type-S de-badged and was curious why folks do that... to an unknowing buyer (should you sell) this may signal that rear end was hit and owner never bothered with re-attaching lettering after the paint job.

If you say: well, it's meant to mask the model of a car in case someone wants to race you - "sleeper look" - I say, it's not like it's hard to tell it's a TL or Type-S TL. Any n00b would be able to tell it's a TL and not a bimmer. IMHO + My $0.02 - I feel de-badging screams "ricer" and I'd be very cautious buying one, as I suspect owner may have abused/raced the car.

Broke my old one when I took them off, I couldn't get the old glue off tried goo be gone, wd40, paint thinner and tons of other stuff just wouldn't come off.

It's just a preference for a look. Kind of how people clear out their headlights, change their side-markers, or tint out the windows. I have a feeling that if you are so cautious to purchase a vehicle because it lacks identification lettering, you have larger problems to assess about the car.
