So im having an issue my drivers side marker/ turn signal doesn't work. When the lights are on its off. Unlocking car its off. But when I use the turn signal it works. What could be the issue? Thanks guys!

 

Have you tried the simple thing first and checked your fuses?

 

i checked all my fuses and there all good. which puzzles me is that it cant be a bulb cause it works when the turn signal is switched on. I've narrowed it down to a loose wire or a short. so im gonna tear it apart.

 

Just to be clear, you're talking about the running light within the headlight assembly, correct? Because the sidemarkers on the TL do not blink.
