Fog light troubleshoot

ok so i finally had the balls to remove the front bumper by myself, thanks to sandiegodrive DIY video .

i literally spend the whole morning trying to take off the bumper off

yes im a complete noob.

well heres my problem, i had 5000k hid fogs but some idiot hit my car while it was parked, so the leftside bulb was damaged. just recently i bought 3000k hid bulbs from HIDEXTRA. i removed the bumper and plugged in the new bulbs, when i turn the fog lights on they work but 10 seconds later the leftside bulb turns off. i turn them on around three times and it keeps doing the same thing.

i was wondering if any of you guys know what might be the problem?

might be a bad ballast, take the other ballast from good working side and troubleshoot if its the ballast or defective bulb, but definitely install a relay kit for fogs.

+1, sounds like a bad ignitor and with these after market one the ignitor is integrated into the ballast.

The bulbs came with the wires that connect to the relay, I already had an hid kit installed before all I did was unplug the old bulbs and plug in the new one.

I even switched the bulbs out and when I put the rightside bulb on the the left side they stayed on longer but they would turnoff after 20 seconds.

Just the leftside would go off.
