Help! lights went dead on me...
Help! after i replacing the license plate lights with Super White they went dead on me. Now when i turn on the car the lights doesn't go on night mode...means that interior led light for buttons and navi doesn't go on "night mode" again that include the plate lights... What did i do wrong i plugged everything as supposed to...did fuse blown? help would greatly appreciated...
i dont want to be a jerk, but i cant really understand what you are saying/typing...
so lets try to explain this better. so are you saying none of your lights work now? or only some are not working?
i dont know what "night mode" is, but there is a button on your dash just to the left of the steering wheel. that changes the brightness of you interior lights, and probably changes your navi lights too. not sure though, because my TL doesnt come with stock navi. this button DOES NOT change the exterior lights though. also, like playa4real said, your headlights need to be on in order for your license plate lights to come on.
You said they went "dead" on you. did you check to be sure they light up before you buttoned up your trunk lining? some LEDs need to be inserted a certain way in order to work, and/or then need to have proper contact in order to work. sometimes you just need to play with the contact points on the light in order for everything to connect properly.

i also notice that these lights "usually" comes on first rotate on head lights switch and now"only headlight" works works on second rotate...its like anything on first rotate on headlight switch is disable...my guess would be a fuse blow...? please help...can't drive at night without license plate lights on...thanks again...

You blew a fuse. No big deal. Go to AutoZone or whatever in the morning an get a replacement.
It's probably one in the drivers side footwell, but check your Owners Manual for fuse descriptions/locations. There are 2 fuse boxes. One under the hood, one in the drivers foot well.
Check the likely fuses and then buy the same type and amperage for replacement.
If needed, there is a little plastic fuse puller tool in the fuse box under the hood.
