My passenger blinking mirror is out on my TL and it has nothing to do with the connection. I think it's the LED's itself if so. Is it worth it "money wise" to just fix it (if it is possible) or just buy a new whole mirror.

 

I'm confused, please clarify: you have an 04 TL but have mirrors with turn signals in them? If so, are they the factory ones from an 07-08? If so, you don't need to buy the whole mirror. You can just buy the turn signal/lense assembly if it is indeed OEM. Lot cheaper then buying a whole new mirror!

They are a snap to replace too (the turn signal assembly).

You can buy them straight from Acura. Since I work at an Acura dealership, I buy all my parts through them. Found this site for buying parts though if that's not an option for you:

What is the difference between
34300-STX-AO1 Light assembly

and 34301-STX-305 Lamp unit

They are the same price so I'm thinking the lamp unit is part of the light assembly.

How much of a challenge is it to replace the light assy because of cracked lense.

 

I am having the same issue. My lens is cracked and I need to know what I have to do to replace it. The dealership says I need to replace the entire mirror but I think it's a load of crap. Greatly appreciate any info.

 

the LED trun signal is replaceable. Just buy the led, Take the Glass out and find the 2 hex screws that hold the LED.

 

can you replace that lens while the mirror is still mounted to the car or do you need to remove the mirror from the car?

 

^ would like to know as well in case i ever have to replace mine
