Fuses keep blowing! HELP
Fuses keep blowing! HELP
It all started about 2 weeks ago when my fuses blew; #21 IG Meter (Cabin fuse box) and #4 Small Light (Engine bay fuse box).
I replaced the fuses and they kept blowing so there was a shortage somewhere. Every time I would put my car into Reverse, my gauges would automatically die which meant the fuse blew again; #21 IG Meter.
After realizing that, I thought about it and it must be my reverse lights that trigger the shortage. I had HIDs installed into my reverse lights which was one of my first mods to the car about a year and a half ago. The HIDs were fully functional till 2 weeks ago when the fuses blew so I took them out and put everything back to stock back there.
After putting everything back to stock, everything was perfect and functional for 2 weeks. Until last night....the #21 IG Meter fuse blew on me and now I have no idea what is wrong. I tried checking my wires to my reverse lights and everything was good, but there was still a shortage because I tried new fuses multiple times to test if I had fixed the problem.
After 3 hours into it, fuse #4 Small Light blew as well... so now I have 2 blown fuses that I have no clue where the shortage is at.
Any ideas?
I plan on just getting an electrical diagnosis on the car and have the professionals fix my car.. it is very irritating.
